Intravenous 2: Achievements Guide and Tips

Guide to every achievement and general tips(SPOILERS WILL BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM); achievements are ranked from least obtained(top) to most obtained(bottom) for easier access to harder ones.

 

Gun Schizo

Mod every possible weapon with every attachment

This means EVERY attachment there is in the game, from glow sights to 4x sights for AS VAL.

I’d recommend to save up to 120k using NG+ and start the NG+ with every blueprint unlocked on the same difficulty you got the 120k and every blueprint for the weapons, beat the game, start another NG+(money is saved at the highest money campaign was completed with) and repeat the thing for leftover attachments. This also requires you to get every weapon.

The Goose is Cooked

Obtain the bad ending

To obtain the bad ending, you must have killed 10 civilians or have less than 30% trust with Steve, it is important that you do not kill all 3 or just 1 target, but 2, to avoid getting neutral and worst endings, and make sure to not spare all 3 targets, as that might result in the best ending.
If you have a savefile where you killed the targets in night club and reached apartments, you can simply load the apartments, kill 10 civvies there, kill the target and beat the rest of the levels for a quick bad ending.

Duality of Man + Punisher + Wetworks


Finish the game having killed no one as Sean, but having killed everyone as Steve.(Punisher and Wetworks obtainable through Duality of Man)

There isnt anything to give a tip, just remember that you dont need to knock down everyone as Sean, and can simply rush through objective and back to the escape. It is also important that you keep every single target alive.

Here’s some general tips: In mob front, you dont have to kill everyone, due to there being a confusion of enemies spawning if loud part has been triggered.

Due to a recent fix, if Steve kills anyone in Epilogue, ground floor, his kills will count to yours, and in Butchery, Sean’s kills will also count to yours, so try to knock down everyone in Epilogue whilst keeping Steve hidden somewhere, and in Butchery give Sean a gun.

You can finish off knocked down enemies that you melee’d/gas grenaded/whatever else by body option in the settings(it is enabled automatically that the body options are hidden during loud gameplay); you can hold RMB to aim at the knocked down enemies and shoot them to finish them off. Setting them on fire/exploding them also works, but I don’t see you doing that unless you’re a sadist.
On that note, when you kill everyone, a special sound will play, and music should stop playing shortly after, but that will also happen even if you knocked anyone out, so make sure to finish them off asap if you dont wanna search for knocked down enemies.

Consider saving before exfiltrating incase you missed any of the targets.

Ammo Hoarder

Just like the gun schizo one, but instead its every type of ammo, some guns dont have different ammo types like AS VAL and Magnum. You also do not need to own every gun to unlock this achievement(I think)

It takes around ~90k$ to buy every single ammo type

Classic

This achievement is only hard the first time you play it.

The best guns I found for it are: HK417(early game) AR-15(burst-fire), Saiga (Preferably with drum mag and #00 buckshot/slugs), before you have AR-15, I’d say use MP5N as its good enough, don’t forget to take Glock-18 once you find it as it is an incredible secondary thats really good for Throwback due to its DPS, even if it has a low clip size. NEVER use sawn-off shotgun,

Don’t have anything else to recommend, the stealth is the same as hard difficulty’s, try to somewhat stealth first level since you only have a pistol and sawn-off simply isnt worth picking up on this difficulty.

This difficulty has been nerfed, so now you won’t suffer on Epilogue.

Collateral + Hook, Line, Sinker.

Obtainable by obtaining the worst ending.

To get the worst ending you must kill all 3 targets.

Killing all 3 targets will nullify your current ending and turn it into worst ending regardless.

Gun Nut 2.0

Simply get every gun and gadget. I’ll mention the levels where the guns you most likely will end up missing and that arent dropped by goons nor can be bought.

AN-94 – Gideon side mission(Where you kill Gideon, in a room that require Secret key chain, can be picklocked/bashed); check image

Kingpin + Black Market Aficionado + Money Launderer

Simply loot the entire map on every single level, if you loot the entirety of every map including side missions, you should be at around 90k$, I’d recommend getting these achievements before the other achievements that require you to spend money.

If you dont want to loot maps, you should get around 13k$ per NG+ with no looting + no side missions, Epilogue gives no money for completion.

Weaponized Perforator

Simply install burst-fire mode for M1014.

All’s Well That Ends Well

Kill 1 target or have below <30% trust with Steve.

Up to Eleven

Simply install full auto trigger on Browning Auto 5.

Private Interview + Busy night

I really wish I could give tips for these 2 achievements, but I really can’t.

If you want to, these achievements can be obtained on custom difficulty by setting every stealth aspect to being as easy as possible. But at that point just use Steam Achievement Manager.

Stim Junkie

Obtained by becoming addicted to the slow mo effect.

Arsonist + BBQ Enjoyer + Cooking with Gas

Best way to do these achievements is by having a bunch of enemies run towards a place with carpets, as the fire spreads the fastest there. Best places is the house in Oleander’s Objective(Have one person try to shoot at you before you plant the bomb, and wait until all of them will come to the house, then break window and throw the molotov) and Epilogue, 2nd Sean’s floor(Floor 26, with 20 enemies), shoot the closest enemy with a loud gun, wait a bit and throw a molotov, enemies should push each other onto the fire and it’ll just overall spread to them. Floor 27 also works due to no fire alarms, but due to low amount of enemies (10) you might not be able to get it there.

True Pacifist

Do not kill any civilians/police men/targets.

This achievement needs you to not kill ANY CIVILIANS/POLICE/TARGETS, other times the game states, that they just look like police, but are infact just goons disguised as them, those are ABSOLUTELY FREE TO BE KILLED, feel free to kill goons, bandits, whoever else that WILL shoot you, and whenever Steve DOESNT ask you to kill them.

Hidden & Dangerous

No real tips here, I can’t stealth, same thing with custom difficulty if it’ll help.

Rise to the Challenge

Beat the game on ‘True’ difficulty, I’d recommend going genocide while taking out lamps in a place for a “kill box”, kevlar + plate is recommended for genocide, ceramic breaks incredibly fast. HK417 is an amazing weapon due to it oneshotting capabilities, and Model 700 is a fun bolt aciton rifle to play with for the 1 shot thingy. AK-103 with suppressor is also good as it will oneshot most targets, and if not, 2nd shot will take them out for sure.

Freeloader + Pupil

Obtainable by asking for training from Steve when you don’t have 1k and haven’t trained with Steve before.

Small-Form-Factor Machinegun + Drum-fed Monstrosity + Bullet Hose + Flawless Ergonomics

Saiga-12K is obtainable in the level where we rescue Sean’s dad, at bottom left iirc.

ONCE AGAIN I COMPLETELY FORGOT WHERE THE TRIGGER GROUPS ARE IM SO SORRYYYYY

Scorpion can be found in one of the levels where its in camera room right near the start i forgot the level

Glock-18 is in dark room at bottom right of one of the levels i forgot which level im sorry

Straight-Edge

Beat the game without using Sean’s slow-mo(stim). Steve’s slow-mo when he’s outnumbered doesnt count for the achievement.

Chain Reaction

Obtainable in Theo’s police precinct in a room with 3 cells, check image

Damning Evidence

Obtain every compromising material in Police Precinct, check images

1st
2nd and 3rd
4th
5th and 6th(the top room with 6th evidence is dark)
7th
8th

If you picked all of the compromising materials, you should have 2.4k, 3.4k if you picked up the wad of cash

Silent Death

Obtainable in Butchery, check image

Mass Hypnosis + Sleepover + Relax

Best place I found to be for these achievements is Epilogue, Floor 27, knock the first guy out, run to the electricity room, get shot once in that room before knocking the 2nd guy out, and throw a gas grenade, after that, all enemies will run towards the gas grenade, securing you an easy Mass Hypnosis achievement, and every other gas grenade related achievements.

Lord of Nothing + Code of Honor + To Hell and Back

Spare all 3 targets, try to kill as least civilians as possible(atleast not 10), and do every side mission (each side mission gives +10% trust with Steve), Inquiring Steve also gives 4% trust.

Silent Jackhammer

Obtainable on final side mission, main target of the final mission, simply exfiltrate with the gun.

Rodent Annihilator

Install suppressor on Ruger with threaded barrel. The Ruger is on 3rd level(Mob Front), simply bash open the door, take the gun as Steve, get to the target, and you’ll end up with Ruger.

Dragon Slayer

Unmissable in Best, Neutral and Bad endings.

Tacticool + Ghost Trick

Fully mod out yo gun and install the 600 laser i believe and you have both achievements

Hooligan

I got the achievement by getting one soda can and then punching until I got another

Pacifist

Beat a level without killing anyone, you can knock enemies down.

Dumpster Diver

Simply take a throwable object from dumpster

Ghost

Simply avoid getting ! mark on enemies iirc

Skydiver

Use Sean’s slow-mo(stim)

An Unlikely Alliance

Unmissable

Diabetes in a Can

Get the can from the vending machine and choose the Drink option

Bullet Whisperer

Equip a pistol with a suppressor and subsonic ammo, if I remember correctly, it goes to any weapon that uses 9mm ammo and other pistol ammo, but don’t take my word for it, could’ve been a bug thats fixed.
