The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered – How to Max All Attributes (No Cheats)

A short guide on how to max all your attributes to 100 without using glitches or exploits.

 

Introduction

First of all. The max level you can achieve without exploits or glitches seems to be level 45. You need to read a book called Oghma Infinium to achieve this. When you read this book matters (see below).

After some investigation I found out that it is possible to reach max attributes and skills without the use of exploits or glitches. At least for 1 race/origin combo. It might be possible to achieve with different combos (I need your help to figure this out). I want to share this guide so give some insight on how I achieved this. Alternatively (if my wording is confusing), you can watch this video of me assigning virtue points for 11 minutes straight:

 

Character Creation

  • Race: Choose Breton
  • Origin: Choose Systres
  • Birthsign: Choose the Thief
  • Favorite attribute: Choose Luck and Endurance
  • Major skills: Choose any

How to assign virtue points:

I divided the attributes into 3 groups. Red, blue and green (see screenshot).

When you level up you always pick luck and choose a group to give the remaining 8 virtue
points to. This way you will reach max luck at level 36. Your focus should be on the red and blue groups first. This doesn’t mean you cannot level the attributes in the green group, but the green group should be maxed last. In total. You only have 3 virtue points to spare so it is important that you don’t waste any until the last level. Assign the virtue points like this:

  • Red group: +4 to strength and +4 to agility until you reach 100. Since you need 60 virtue points to reach 100 and 60 is divisible by 4, you won’t waste any virtue points here.
  • Blue group: +4 to intelligence and +4 to willpower until you reach 90. Raise your conjuration, destruction and restoration to 100. After you did that, read the Oghma Infinium book and choose the Path of the Spirit. Your intelligence and willpower are now 100. Again no virtue points wasted. Your conjuration, destruction and restoration are now 110. The extra skill levels raise your level cap by 1 (from 44 to 45). This is the key to maxing out all attributes.
  • Green group: Alternate giving points to speed, endurance and personality so that the values stay roughly the same. When you are level 44 you should have maxed the blue and red groups as well as luck. At level 45 you should have enough points to max speed, endurance and personality as well.
