Fail to escort Wei Rong to the city (Lose to the Hai’er brothers), or fail to show up the next day after she asks you to escort her.

After “sleeping” with Wei Rong, attempt to communicate with her bedridden husband.

Visit Wei Rong’s shop at night, climb the stairs and find Liu Cai on the first floor.

Fail to bring her the medicine before the quest timer expires.

Raise affinity to Obsession with Yun Xue Zhu.
Search for the demon in the mountaintops. Leave Yun Xue Zhu to confront it,
Rest For Three Days, then go to location of Yun Xue Zhu on the map.

Reach the Lowest affinity (Undying Hatred) with Wei Rong.
Kill Liu Cai.
Return several days later to the spot you killed Liu Cai in, Speak to Wei Rong.
Exclusive Property
Reach the Lowest affinity (Undying Hatred) with Liu Cai.
Enter Wei Rong’s home through the hole in the wall.
Defeat Liu Cai Single-Handedly
