S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Prypiat Enhanced Edition – Key A and Key B Locations

This guide was made mainly for newcomers in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series who haven’t played these games before and don’t know much. So, to open the military box with gas for the “Bloodsucker Lair” quest, you need to find two keys: Key A and Key B, respectively. But they are in two tricky places that are too far away from both you and each other, and, well, the surroundings are quite dangerous. So, let me tell you where they are!

 

Key A

You can find the Key A after you turn and a bit to the north. You can either take the safe route by going up the pipe (the ladders are in the south) or just sprint and avoid the anomalies.

By the way, we’re looking for a military jeep. There it is, visible from afar! Looks like a loner who got separated from the main convoy. So let’s just head towards it, but again, be careful.

Here it is, if you get a little bit more closer.

Let’s not waste time, just check the box on the back and voila — here’s the Key A!

Key B

Once you’ve got the Key A, it’s time to get the Key B. It’s much easier to get — the only problem is… well, we need to get back to that convoy. But if you’ve run through all the anomalies, you should be good enough to do it again!

There’s a small place where you can land safely, avoiding both fall damage and annoying anomalies. From here, we can already see the jeep. It’s right below us, so let’s just press onward.

And yep. Here is the jeep, or what is left of it anyway. And inside there is a small safe. Open it!

And finally, here is the Key B we were looking for!

And thus you’ve found the Key B and are ready to crack that gas box. You can climb the ladder nearby, get to the top of the pipe and run back to the column. Now you’re ready to roll!
