Cactus Item: Shoots out spikes upon taking damage. Damage scales with Thorns
Quest: – Kill 100 cactus with Thorns damage
- This is one of the most difficult quests at the moment, and the Cactus is quite useless. I recommend completing this quest last
- Hero: Bush
- Location: Desert Tier 1
- Slots: 2 weapons and 2 books. (To remove extra slots, sell them in the shop)
- Primary Weapon: Sniper Rifle. For the second slot, take any of these: Shotgun, Mines, Flamewalker
Tomes:
- Thorns – Key tome for completing the quest, always take it when it appears
- Shield – Important tome, will help you regenerate after taking damage
Stats and Items:
- Pick items and upgrades that give you regeneration, survivability (except evasion), and DPS
Start:
- Farm for 1 minute, and if no cacti have appeared, restart the run (the chance for cacti is about 20%)
- If cacti have appeared, but you don’t have Thorns yet, hold down the Right Mouse Button and shoot at everything except the cacti
- When Thorns drop, hold down the Right Mouse Button so your weapon doesn’t kill the cacti, and crash into it with your character
