LOST EMBER: Rekindled Edition – All Flowers

The new DLC Legendary Souls brings a new open map to explore, and in this new map is 50 flowers for you to find.

This guide assumes you at least have the Parrot and/or the Hummingbird forms unlocked, as they will make traversing the map a lot simpler. Some of the flowers are also in caves or underwater, but there is always an Armadillo or a Fish nearby. There is only two flowers in the snow region, but there is Mountain Goats and Wombats to get you there, of course having the Eagle form unlocked will make this easier.

Below is a map where I have marked the locations where a flower can be found, and below that are pictures and descriptions on where the flowers hide. If any of the flowers are giving you trouble, please let me know and I will update the guide to help further.

Searching high and low I have only managed to find 48 of them, but I decided to start the guide anyway. If anyone can see a flower location I have not marked, please let me know and I will check it out and update the map.

Here is to hoping we will find that last illusive flower.

At the very start of the DLC when you gain control of the Wolf, turn 180 degrees and go back the way the Wolf came and you will see a flower surrounded by some Wombats.

Not far from the start follow the stream down. Close to the start of the Soul Quest: Great Hunter and across the stream behind a huge rock you will find a flower.

From Flower 2 follow the water stream until you see a broken tree and a dirt path to the left. Follow this dirt path and you should see some Wombats eating blueberries. Go under the rocks with the glowing light behind them and through a hollow tree, you will get into a little Wombat den where a flower resides.

Right by part two of the Soul Quest: Great Hunter, you will find a flower behind a rock, between some Wombats and Turtles.

Keep following the path towards the third part of the Soul Quest: Great Hunter and you should come by the start of the Soul Quest: Empty Summit. On a cliff next to the path there is a flower on a ledge.

By part two of the Soul Quest: Empty Summit, you can see some Elephants. Right behind a tree nearby is a flower.

In the lake swim towards the area where you find the Legendary Fish, before the entrance where he hides there is a flower.

Swim towards the island with the dead tree. There is a huge stone you can swim under. Right under this stone is a flower.

Right on top of the dead tree.

As you leave the lake near the dead tree you should see a little cliff with a dirt path between it and the mountain side that leads you in to at huge field. But before you start frolicking, there is a flower tucked away by some stones at the beginning.

From Flower 10, follow the dirt path up into the cliffs until you reach a fork. The left side will lead you to a rock that blocks your path. On the other side, there is a nearby tree with a flower next to it.

On a rock right next to the Legendary Sloth, and the end of the Soul Quest: Empty Summit.

Not far from flower 12, near the edge of the cliff side, is a Wombat den next to a huge pillar. The flower is guarded by Wombats and Ducks

From flower 13 there is a dirt path that leads into the little forest. When you reach the purple plants there is a flower behind the trees on the left. From this flower you can see the broken building where part three of the Soul Quest: Birds and a Boy takes place.

Again starting from flower 13. Instead of going into the forest, go down the hill on the right until you reach the end. There will be a flower on the cliff edge surrounded by Ducks. In the distance you can see the start of the Soul Quest: The Next Peak. Eagle eyed people will also have spotted a flower over there, but don’t worry I will get to it later.

In the secluded valley with a lot of parrots, right behind part five of the Soul Quest: Great Hunter, is a flower by a tree.

Close by Flower 16 you should spot a waterfall. Go up the waterfall and you should see a little island in the water with a flower next to a stone.

From the end of the Soul Quest: Birds and a Boy, you should spot a building in the distance that looks like it’s about to fall off the edge. Near this building is a flower.

Right next to the building and the start of the Soul Quest: Breaking Formation.

Inside the building right by the start of the Soul Quest: Slow and Steady. (It’s spooky in here)

On a rock overlooking the start of the Soul Quest: The Next Peak. This was the flower you could spot from flower 15, I told you I would get to it.

Right on the same ledge where you find the Legendary Mountain Goat, near the end of the Soul Quest: The Next Peak.

Down from the end of the Soul Quest: The Next Peak, there is a valley type area with a waterfall that splits in two that falls down to the Legendary Elephant. On the side is a grassy open area, behind the huge cliff near the edge is a flower. This flower probably has one of the best views, if it was not for the bushes being in the way.

We are now finally heading towards the huge structure in the side of the mountain. But before we get to the main structure there is a broken tower like building placed precariously on the edge. Inside this building is a flower.

Inside the throne room near part four of the Soul Quest: Great Hunter, the flower is right next to the throne.

On the opposite side of the structure is a collapsed building identical to the throne room. There is nothing inside, but the flower is right outside.

Down from flower 27 you should see two broken buildings. The one furthest away is where the start of the Soul Quest: Birds and a Boy is located, the building closer has a flower inside.

Opposite flower 28 is a cliff with a spire, that you can actually tip over to create a bridge, and between them is a waterfall. Near the ledge by this waterfall is a flower.

The next two flowers are inside caves. This flower is right inside the cave by the Legendary Armadillo, this is also the cave where you get to the end of the Soul Quest: Crossing the Line.

You probably don’t need to be something small inside this cave. But I did try and go back to Wolf form inside, and I fell though the map and landed in water under the map. When I reloaded I was still there and had to start over. So be careful.

This next flower is a bit more tricky to reach. There are two ways to get to it.

The first way is by part two of the Soul Quest: Crossing the Line, next to a broken wall is a hole by two Mountain Goats.

The other way is above on a ledge. You will see some Armadillos near a dirt patch. Turn unto an Armadillo here and start sniffing, you will find a tunnel you can dig into.

In the middle of the big gorge is a lonely pillar, on the top of this pillar is a flower.

From flower 32 you should spot the broken building where the start of the Soul Quest: Crossing the Line is located. But before going there, go to the foot of the cliff, and you should see a flower between some rocks.

From flower 33 go around the edge until you reach the broken path. On a ledge overlooking it is a flower. Get it before the Mountain Goat nearby decides he wants to eat it. 😛

Now head towards the broken building with the start of the Soul Quest: Crossing the Line. Before reaching it, there is a huge tree with a flower in front of it.

Continue past the broken building from flower 35 until you reach a broken bridge. On the other side you can see a ledge on the right side with two wonky trees, go up to them and and you will see a flower.

From flower 36 continue along the path past the red grass until you reach another broken building and part three of the Soul Quest: After the Applause. Inside the broken building is a flower.

Across the ravine and up from flower 37, you should spot another broken building, get up there and find another flower inside.

Not far from flower 38 in the water close to a path up and a waterfall is a lonely pillar, on this pillar is a flower.

If you look up at the cliff behind the ruins, where the start of the Soul Quest: Withheld Hand is located, you should see a tree hanging over the ledge. There is a flower next to that tree.

In the water, close to the broken building where the start of the Soul Quest: After the Applause is located, there is a flower. If there are no fish or lily pads, you are in the wrong water.

Remember the broken building I spoke of in flower 41? Yes you guessed it, there is a flower inside.

From part two of the Soul Quest: A Frozen Life, go up the hill and you should see a flower.

Now this one is a bit tricky. If you face the spot where you found flower 44 and look to your left and up, you should spot a cave in the cliffside covered with bushes and hanging vines. There is also water falling in front of the entrance. There is a flower resting on the edge of the cave entrance. Another beautiful view from here.
