First of all, this guide is for players who have spent at least a couple of hours in the game, so I don’t need to cover the basic crafting techniques here, such as the hook, light pincers, gyro hook, etc.
You can find all of these crafting techniques in other guides (almost every crafting guide covers them), or you can learn them yourself—the choice is yours.

Gyro Hook can be crafted with Light Pincers and Hook
The universality of this guide is that the structure needed for crafting can appear in any biome (in my personal experience), which makes this algorithm quite simple to implement, especially if you are lucky enough to find the structure in a biome with flying figures.
First, you need to find a specific structure. It looks like a pair of Minecraft-style houses with windows and boxes inside. This structure contains almost everything you need to craft golden items.
Break the windows to get Glass Shards, then break the boxes to find Mercury inside them. There are a lot of boxes in these buildings, so finding it shouldn’t be difficult.
After that, combine Mercury and a Glass Shard to get a Mercury Capsule. Throw it on the ground with the right mouse button and kill the Mercury Slime. It will drop more Mercury and Goo.
Combine Goo and a Gyro Hook to craft a Scythe.
Then you can combine it with other tools to get their golden variants. For example, combining a Scythe and a Rapier will give you Methuselah.
