Main
1) Scribe’s ledger artifact.
2) some harvest cards (the rarer the better)
3) Keep your deck small. You can even minimize your deck in the turn you will do this technique.
next steps are optional, they will allow you to keep playing cards for free:
4) If you have dismissal cards, they allow you to discard a card and buy another, this not only triggers the Scribe’s effect as explained above, it will also allow you to discard a 1 cost card, which then you will buy with harvest, lowering its cost to zero. Which meand you can keep playing it forever also.
5) zero cost cards also could be played forever, with or without dismissal.
That is it! With harvest card you buy some cards. Some of them will be harvest cards themselves, wich will allow you to keep buying cards forever, since when you use the cards they will go to your discard, and since your deck is small, the next harvest card you use will buy another harvest card, ad infinitum. And the Scribe’s ledger artificat will keep uping your intelligence and wisdom for as long as you have patience to keep doing it.
See the attached screenshot for a perfect illustration of one.
Aditional tips
2) “Dismissal” cards are only available at lv 2 green and lv 3 blue. So do not sacrifice two blue dismissal cards expecting a purple one.
3) If you are beggining your run with the “Scribe’s” artifact, you might as well also use other artifacts that gives you cards. Namely, Mimic’s charm (+1 card if you sacrifice two identical cards) and eye of the foresight (+1 card everytime you use play a tower card. An interesting thing about beggining the run with is that you can play more cards on your first turn, which normally would only allow you to play your two initial towers. Plus, these two towers cost zero mana on this turn.
4) Complementing point 3 above, 7 sided gemstone may be a good idea also, preferentially mid run. This artifact gives you one extra draw per turn and decreases your mana by 2. This does not trigger the Scribe’s effect, however it increases the chance that you will obtain the cards that allow you to draw more, a tower to trigger eye of the foresight, it increases the odds you will begin your turn with two identical cards that allows you to sacrifice them to trigger Mimic’s charm, or even one card that does nothing of the above, but can be sacrificed for a chance to obtain dismissal or harvest cards. I said you should obtain the 7 sided gemstone mid run instead of beggining the run with it because the downside really hurts at the initial waves, when you do not have a solid stabilished base yet. Also, you do not begin the run with any harvest or dismissal cards, diminishing the artifacts usefulness for this strategy.
5) If you are using mimic’s stone, keep in mind that “clone” cards also count as “same” card, even when they are sacrificed alongside a non-clone card.
6) Even if you do not meet the conditions for an infinite combo, merely pursuing this strategy will benefit because you may still get high bonuses.
