Starting Out Helpful Tips
If you want to start the game, you should not miss these useful tips by Aquarius Max:
- When selecting a turret to build, you dont have to keep going back and clicking on its icon to build more. At the bottom of the screen youll notice that it says what turret you have selected, so you can keep placing a turret of that type until you choose a different one, or RIGHT CLICK to deselect it!
- Same with the turret’s upgrade and repair menu, you can just right click to close the menu rather than having to click on the little “X.”
- Sometimes its better to place more smaller turrets, other times is better to rely on upgrading your turrets for more damage early on! Each turret can be upgraded to Level 3.
- Every turret has a critical ratio of dealing damage, so their damage may always vary slightly, most of the time helping you out to destroy enemies faster!
- On the upgrade panel of a turret, (When you click on the node of a built turret) there is a button called Energy Shield. If your energy is at 40% or above, you can apply this shield to your turret, and it will help block some projectiles from hitting your turret. Each shield lasts for a limited amount of time.
- You can build and upgrade your turrets using FUNDS ($), and Repair your turrets using SCRAPS (X). Some enemies drop scraps, and others do not.
- If you sell a turret, you get half the amount spent to build it back. If you let a turret get destroyed instead, you will get about a small amount of the funds back (roughly a third), BUT… you will also receive free scraps from your destroyed turret.
