Intravenous 2: Blueprint locations & Rare Weapons

Guide showing the locations of all blueprints and rare/special weapons in the game.

Blueprints

All the unlockable modifications & the locations of their blueprints

Improved Trigger

Minor stat boost on its own, but is a requirement for every ‘Trigger Group’ upgrade. Goes on nearly every weapon.

+5% max accuracy
+10% focus accuracy
20% faster focus speed

Locations :

1. Gang Hideout (Side Mission #1)
Inside a building at the very top-right corner of the map.
2. Industrial Front (Side Mission #2)
Inside a building by the bottom-left corner of the map.
3. Dolion’s Estate
In a small room at the bottom-right corner of the map, besides a glock-18 with fancy ammo.

Binary Trigger

Fires an additional shot whenever you release the trigger. Goes on most standard pistols, effectively doubling their firepower.

Locations :

1. Pablo’s Hideout
In a building on the right side of the map, near the center.
2. Dolion’s Estate
In a garage, by the center-left, besides some remarkable guns.

Full-Auto Trigger Group

Adds a full-auto trigger group. Goes on the Ruger MK4MP5SDBrowning A5 and Saiga-12k

Locations :

1. Pablo’s Hideout
In the armory, above the building in the bottom-left corner of the map.
2. Dilapidated Complex (Side mission #3)
Next to the objective.

3-Round-Burst

Adds a three-round trigger group. Goes on the most standard pistols, making them much deadlier just like Binary Trigger, and the M4 Super 90.

Locations :

1. Oleander’s Objective
In a very large dark building, hidden in the top-left corner. Break through the window right of spawn, leave the building through the north, and then walk left.
2. Butchery
In the building above the gym at the bottom-right of the map, below the container maze.

Rare Weapons

Weapons that are hard to come across, only in few places of the campaign, usually with some special properties/qualities & generally not used by enemies.

Note : Some weapons that used to be rare/unique in the first game (ex : Desert Eagle, Glock-18, HK-417) are very common this time around!

Ruger MK IV

.22 LR Pistol

When suppressed, it is very quiet, nearly as quiet as the VP9, but with much higher firepower, even moreso when using Binary Trigger / Full Auto.

Locations :

1. Mob Corporate Front
In the building up-and-right from the starting point.
2. Dolion’s Estate
In a garage, by the center-left, next to a Binary Trigger blueprint.

Integrally-suppressed 9x19mm SMG

Its special feature is that it makes any ammo perform as subsonic, meaning any ammo you find will always be quiet.

True to its nature, its generally found in dark, easy-to-miss corners.

Locations :

1. Dilapidated Complex (Side Mission #3)
In the building immediatelly right of the spawn, in a locked dark room.
2. Butchery
In a storage room in the right of the container maze (center-left of map), hiding in the top-right corner.
3. Theo’s Police Precinct
In a storage room a bit below Theo’s room, hiding in the top-left corner.

AN94

5.45mm AR

Its unique gimmick is that its two-shot burst-fire mode is incredibly fast, almost as if firing one really high damage shot (that sometimes gets cucked by the enemy getting knocked down and effectively dodging the second bullet). Unfortunately, the rapid initial burst does not work on auto-fire, like it does in real life, so its otherwise a generic, unremarkable rifle when not using the burst mode. Also you cant modify the barrel.

Locations :

1. Gideon’s House (Side Mission #3)
In the room that Gideon idles in.

AS VAL

Integrally suppressed 9x39mm AR

It is basically an overpowered rifle for the final mission and NG+. Higher damage than the medium rifle calibers, and is practically the quiestest primary for the game (bar subsonic mp5sd)

Most importantly, it has none of the catastrophic downsides of the other suppressed + subsonic rifles. Those these being awful damage, bad firerate, awful stability when turning and moving, large movement / noise penalty, and still being pretty loud anyway.

Locations :

1. Abandoned Port Warehouse (Side Mission #5, before the end of the game)
literally the objective of the mission
