Enigma of Fear: 100% Achievement Guide

This guide will help you to unlock all achievements in the game.

Be warned, however, that this guide is a treasure trove of spoilers, so proceed with caution if you wish to maintain the element of surprise.

This guide is a work in progress, with updates rolling in as new discoveries are made.

Story Related Achievements

Ol’ Reliable

Find the crowbar located on a table in the basement of Strach Mansion, accessed through an entrance to the left outside of the mansion.

Rise of the Unhaunted One

The Advanced Lock is located in the mansion’s storeroom on the second floor, just beyond the living room.

To open it, you need to discover a specific combination of three different symbols. All the clues needed to discover the code are on the second floor of the mansion, accessed via the stairs in the entrance hall.

After climbing the stairs, a clock will be immediately in front of the player. By using the UV light, the clock shows certain symbols and the times they represent.

Time, being the first symbol, is told by the alarm next to the clock. Soon after the alarm goes off, two blood zombies will appear on opposite sides of the corridor, so be prepared.

Minutes are spent entering Thiana’s room, which is locked. However, looking at the map, found in the same room as the lock, you can see an entrance through Goliath’s room, on the right wall. One of the disks inside the room reveals the minutes.

Seconds are revealed in Yuri’s room by opening a secret compartment in a box and looking at a small broken clock.

Place the respective symbols on the Lock (in the order hours-minutes-seconds) to open it and unlock the achievement.

The Advanced Lock is located in the Storage Room on the first floor, right after the Living Room. To open it you must solve the puzzle that requires three different symbols, all the clues needed to discover the code are on the second floor of the mansion, accessed through the entrance Hall.

Minutes is discovered by entering Thiana’s Bedroom, which is locked. However, looking at the map, found in the same room as the Advanced Lock, you can find an entrance through Goliath’s Bedroom, on the right wall. One of the discos inside the Thiana’s room will reveal the minutes.

He Will Be Back

Right after opening the Advanced Lock, go down the stairs and enter the door on the right at the end of the hallway, then pick up the note in the center of the room, it reveals a specific combination of symbols:

After collecting the note, you will return to the main menu, place the symbols in the same place you started Mia’s Story to access Verity’s Story.

Return to where you picked up the note through the Cellar of the Mansion to meet Calisto Besatt once again.

Graveyard of the Melodies

Open the padlock in the Graveyard of the Melodies

After entering the Maze in the Graveyard of the Melodies, use your UV Flashlight on the flowers and go through the path that has flowers that light up. Leaving the maze and arriving at the Garden, head up the stairs and you will find the Padlock on the gate.

To open it you will need to use the schematic found in Theo’s Tent at the Camp:

Rotate the padlock in the way shown in the diagram till all 4 lights are lit up and the lock will open.

Déjà Vu
Find the Déjà Vu Radio

Go through the Maze of the Graveyard of the Melodies being guided by sound to find your way to the Mausoleum. After leaving the maze, you will be able to find a small locked box that requires a combination of 3 symbols in one of the nearby gazebos.

It is possible to decode the correct combination of 3 symbols in the Strach Family Mausoleum. The document with the resolution of the correct order of symbols is in the statue room, in the left corner, next to the Eliakim statue.

When you enter the correct combination, the box will open and inside you will find the Déjà Vu Radio.
