Tips and tricks

I´m not a pro at this game, but I still want to leave tips and tricks that kind of helped me to get through.

  • I think the most important thing is to have as many fuses as possible since you dont really want the store to “close”.
    –> If the store is about to close, make sure one of you is at a fuse box to immediately turn on the power again.
  • The Stamina runs out pretty fast. Make sure to always have an energy bar with you if it comes to emergencies

This is actually all I have for now. I will upadate it when I find more stuff >.<

Episode 1

After spawing in you will find yourself in an office like room.
One of you has to climb up the wall while the other one helps.

The one who helped can just stay in the room.
The person on the other side has to open the door.
For that you will have to find the carriage behind the counter which you have to push away to sneak thorugh the vent

There is a button which you have to press to open the door to go back again

Now you have to go back to the first room and you all have to press the button to open a door and continue on.

Now in the store, you have to follow the exit signs.

If you proceed a little further, on the right you will find the first riddle, on the left the counter part for the riddle.
The person on the right will find different symbols and underneath them are buttons corresponding to them. To open the door on the left side you will have to change the symbols on the tv screen so they fit the symbols on the right side. For that, the person on the right has to press the buttons and the one on the left has to communicate what they see.

If you´ve done everything right, the door with the tvs will open and introduce you into a new room.
Walk straight and turn left. You will see a box with a handle and 3 cables connected to it.
Activate the box.

Now you have to look for wire cutters. You will find them near the entrance where you just went in. Inside of “creeping roots”

After pickung them up, you´ll have to find 3 other boxes connected to the one before. You can find them if you follow the big red cables. Cut the boxes open and deactivate them.
All I know is that they always spawn at the same locations. One should be right behind the wall of the main box
the next one is near the shower theme on the right
you will find the last one if you go up the escalator and follow the cable to the end of the floor behind a counter.

After deactivating all 3 boxes you can go back to the main box and deactivate that one too.
The door will open and you can continue on.

Leaving the small room you will enter a big computer/server like room.
Go straight, then left and enter the door on the right in that room. If you find yourself in a room with yellow/orange tvs, you are on the right track.

Now proceed straight and go to the left corner of the room. You will find a platform where all of you have to stand on to open the door. –

Inside you will find another riddle and notes scattered all across the room. You will also find a big screen and infront of it there are 4 smaller screens. You have to change them according to what the notes say. Since I´m here to help I´ll just show you the solution 🙂

After succeding you can press the button in the middle and the exit door will generate.
BUT BEFORE YOU DO THAT please know that after pressing the button the gate will open and there will be a monster nearby. Hide directly infront of the gate or try to survive another way somehow =D

All you have to do now is get back to the beginning of the mall without dying. There is a small shortcut so you dont have to crawl underneath that small area where you came from before getting into the computer/server room. You can jump up the boxes there.

Now you can just run out
and you will find the exit to the right, relatively near the end of the blocked escalator at the beginning.
go inside, then left, then right.

Just jump down and you have escaped in the first chapter :DD

Episode 2

Since most of the parts of ep2 are randomly generated, I can only guide you partly.

You will find a door with a code as the first riddle. The Symbol code is always in the same order. –

The number code is randomly generated. You can find the codes through looking for TV´s in houses. Some will have a symbol with the code number, some will only have static. You can also hear the noises of the TV´s.
This house is right at the beginning on the right side. It contains 3 TV´s in total. 1 at the front and 2 at the backside of the house.
This one is also at the beginning at the backside of the middle house. You will have to sneak through the hole.
This house is completely at the end on the right side. You will have to push a carriage to jump up to the other side.
This one is also at the end on the left side. You will have to jump up a box.
This hosue is in the middle of the map and on the left side, looking down from the main door.
And these two are also in the middle, the middle one and the one on the right.

After entering and talking to Tim, you´ll have to find his friend´s picture. There are 2 ways to get inside if you care

You will find the picture if you go into the nearest entrance and go straight to a little room with a vent.

Give him the picture and wait for him to finish talking. The door on the right will open up.

Inside you will be met with a staircase that goes up and one that goes down. Decide who goes up and who will go through the labyrinthe.
The surveillance room will have many screens. Surveillance cameras, a map and many TV screens with a symbol and buttons.
Everything except for the labyrinthe will be generated randomly, which means you can just follow the white line I drew.

You will be met by a total of 3 traps. The person in the surveillance room has to press the corresponding button to the labyrinthe´s screen.
Here you´ll have to look at the screen AND at the arrows location and follow accordingly.
And at the last trap, you´ll just have to press the button until the way is free.

you have to dig out a total of 3 keys and put them into a machine which is symbolized with a lock on the right side of the map. After digging out all 3, you can go back to the locked door and insert all the keys.

You´re back in the store. You can go inside the store on the left side and walk up the stairs of boxes and go into a vent or just go up the escalator and go to the left to find the “cuts” store.
