Assassin’s Creed Shadows: How to Enable Nvidia DLSS

This guide will help you enable NVIDIA technologies such as DLSS & DLAA in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

 

Update GPU drivers

Have you already updated your Nvidia graphic card drivers?
If not, you definetely should as it enables DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation.

Later version of Nvidia driver is 572.83 release on Tue, Mar 18 2025

Missing DLSS in game?

So, you have launched the game right on release time and what do you see in Upscaler type option?

Only outdated TAA and pointless AMD & Intel options.

What about Frame Generation? Only AMD FSR.

So how to fix that and enable DLSS for both options?

Enabling DLSS in Nvidia app

First of all, you need to navigate through your Nvidia app via Graphics tab —> Program Settings —> Assassin’s Creed Shadows

From there, you will those options, but you need to focus on those two.

For DLSS Override – Model Presets, you should chose Latest option both for Frame Generation and Super Resolution.

As for DLSS Override – Super Resolution, you can switch between DLAA 100% or Ultra perfomance mode 33% depending on your hardware.

Restart your PC

After completing previous step, you need to restart your PC to see changes in-game.

Results

After PC restart, launch your game, you wll see DLSS is finally enabled!
