Step-by-Step Guide to Changing Your Nickname

Please note that this method is temporary and may be subject to change by the game developers.

  1. Skip this step if you had opened Web Inventory previously:
    1. On the Play page click Web Inventory button on the left side of the screen
    2. Close that window (optionally redeem all or some items if you want)
  2. Open Steam Overlay (default hotkey Shift+Tab)
  3. Open Web Browser in Overlay
  4. If you’ve opened this guide in Overlay — just click this url: https://wrf.my.games/account, otherwise simply copy and paste it
  5. Click Change player name
  6. Pick new player name and click Confirm
    • Choose wisely, the name can be changed only once in 24 hours
    • The name needs to be 3-16 symbols long, begin with a letter and only contain Latin letters, digits, underscore _ and hyphen –
    • Do not use any personally identifiable information or names breaking the rules
    • The name needs to be vacant
  7. It may take some time for the name to be reflected in the game, don’t wait, go play a battle instead
