What Happened Here? Guide: All Endings and Achievements

Controls:
You can also move with WASD and interact with Enter or Space. Hold the Interaction Key down to fast forward through scenes and dialogue.Likeness Mechanic:
You obtain all of the clues by increasing Elly’s Likeness.
During puzzle segments you can only make two mistakes while still increasing Elly’s Likeness. Three or more mistakes means Elly’s Likeness won’t increase.

Interact with the trashcan across the street. (Secret True Ending setup)
Head into the upper-right corner and pick up the paper.
Interact with the front door.
>Yes (Continue.)

>No (Achievement: Ends before it starts)
Inside the house interact with the door you came through to get the first Necklace piece and Clue #1. (Achievement: Leave this space.)Head right into the Living Room.
Interact with the cupboard in the middle to the top to get the Secret Note. (Achievement: Secret Note)
Go into the Garden to the bottom-right, then follow the path up.
When Abby joins the party talk to her until you get the dialogue of her wanting to see Elly in colour again. Now use the Smartphone from the Items Menu. (Achievement: See you in full colours.)
Head further up until Elly realizes they are in a loop. Go through the hidden path in the lower-right corner, pick up the note and flip the switch.
Return to the main area and head up again. This time you are presented with split paths.
Go:Left, Right, Right, Left
After completing the maze go back down through the open gate.
Save when prompted.
Follow Abby after you get the necklace piece and she runs off. (Achievement: Endlessly Looping)
Reload and return to the Lobby to get Clue #2. (Achievement: Sister, can you hear me?)

Head left into the Kitchen.
For the cleaning mini-game make sure you turn Always Dash on in the Options Menu to make it easier. Clean the kitchen counter-clockwise, which is the same route Cici takes. (Achievement: Cleaning queen!)
After getting the Recipe fragments head further right and interact with the shelf in the back to the right with two bottles on top of it to get the Tape.
Return to the kitchen and interact with the sparkles on the table.
Pick the puzzle pieces that match the recipe. Hovering over the puzzle pieces will overlay them on the recipe.
In order the first row should be the salad, the second row should be the pasta and the last row should be the cinnamon rolls.
Save when prompted.
Gather the ingredients from the two cupboards and the fridge. Check the recipes you got in the Items Menu then talk to Cici.
For the Salad choose in order:Tomato, Cheese and Basil
For the Pasta choose in order:Mushrooms, Cream, Pasta, and Chopped Almonds
For the Cinnamon Roll choose in order:Flour, Sugar, Milk, Eggs, Cinnamon and Sugar
When Cici asks you to stay, choose:
>I can’t stay, Cici (Continue.)
>Maybe for a little bit. (Achievement: Together forever)
After obtaining the second necklace piece you are returned to the Lobby.
Go into the Items Menu and use the Smartphone to pick up the call and get Clue #3. (Achievement: Hello, where are you?)
Afterwards the doll should approach you to give you Clue #4. (Achievement: I’ll save you sister!)

Head up through the door in the middle.
You can choose to go through the Chess tutorial, it does not affect your ability to gain Likeness from the puzzles.
Interact with the sparkles on the text in the back to begin the puzzle. After solving each of them head through the door in the back to get to the next one.
The Rook is the Tower piece. The Knight is the Horse piece.
Interact with the piece from the opposite side they need to move towards.
First puzzle:Rook 5 Steps to the Right, Rook 1 Step Down
Second puzzle:Rook 7 Steps Up, Rook 3 Steps to the Left
Third puzzle:King to the Left, Knight to the Right
Head through the door in the back one more time and get the last necklace piece from the chest in the back.

Return to the Lobby.
Save at the doll.
Place the necklace on the altar.
Talk to Noel in the reachable upper-right corner through the bars.
Answer with the gathered clues. (Achievement: True Ending, Manly Ending)

Interact with the trashcan opposite of Elly’s house across the street, although it is empty like your soul and reach the True Ending.
If you know ManlyBadassHero, you get the reference. When Noel asks for your name you can also enter “Manly” for a small easter egg!

Gather all four Clues by increasing Elly’s Likeness and answering the Smartphone when it rings and find the Secret Note in the Living Room. Complete the necklace and place it on the altar in the Lobby, then answer Noel with the clues.

Refuse to enter the house after obtaining the key by interacting with it and choosing“No”.

After solving the maze by activating the hidden leaver and goingLeft, Right, Right, Leftget the necklace piece and go after Abby once she leaves.

After helping Cici clean the kitchen, fix the recipes and cook dinner choose“Maybe for a little bit.”.

Cleaning queen!
Win in the cleaning game.
Self-explanatory. Have the settings option Always Dash on to make it a bit easier and clean the room counter-clockwise.See you in full colours.
Show Abigail the selfie on Elly’s phone
Talk to Abby while she’s in the party until you get the dialogue of her wanting to see Elly in colour again. Use the Smartphone from the Items Menu.

Leave this space.
Get the 1st clue
Interact with the front door after entering the house.

Sister, can you hear me?
Get the 2nd clue
Reach as much Likeness as possible in the first area and gather the second necklace piece.

Hello, where are you?
Get the 3rd clue
Reach as much Likeness as possible in two areas and gather the third necklace piece. Then answer the Smartphone in the Items Menu.

I’ll save you, sister
Get the 4th clue
Save the game a few times while playing, reach as much Likeness as possible in two areas and gather the third necklace piece. You should get this right after the third clue.

Secret note
Find the secret note in the living room.
The secret note is hidden in the cupboard to the top between the windows in the Living Room.

Ends before it starts
Get the 1st bad ending.
When trying to enter the house after getting the key choose“No”.

Endlessly Looping
Get the 2nd bad ending.
Solve the maze in the Garden. Then once Abby leaves after giving Elly the necklace piece go after her back into the maze.

Together forever
Get the 3rd bad ending.
When Cici asks you to stay after helping her cook choose“Maybe for a little bit.”.

Secret Ending
Get the secret bad ending.
(This one has yet to be added to the game as far as I’m aware.)

Normal Ending
Get the normal ending.
(I assume you have to not have all of the clues or not answer Noel with them by pressing Esc when prompted, but as of current this course of action only softlocks you.)

True Ending
Get the true ending.
Gather all clues and complete the necklace. Place the necklace on the altar in the Lobby and talk to Noel in the back.

Manly Ending
Get the secret true ending.
At the start of the game interact with the trashcan opposite of Elly’s house across the street. Gather all clues and complete the necklace. Place the necklace on the altar in the Lobby and talk to Noel in the back.
