Foreword

Most achievements are gained naturally after playing the game long enough. I therefore only made this guide for those that I felt needed specific focus to acquire.

However, as a general warning many (all?) of the produce/earn X achievements reset their counter on prestige.

Bankrupt!

You need to spend all your money, and waste all your resources without having anything to sell.
Start a new run and spend all your starting cash on materials. Then fail to make ammo by pressing buttons in the wrong order until you have no materials left.

If you’ve progressed far enough that you’re getting the passive prestige tier perks, the best way is to make a backup of your save and then do a hard reset.

You can backup your save by going to

%AppData%\Godot\app_userdata\MilitaryIncrementalComplex

You can hit Win+R or go to Start > run and paste that location, or put directly into your file explorer’s address bar.

The active save file that the game loads from is savegame.full.save

If you close game and rename that save file, you can start the game fresh, you can then waste your money and resources, get the achievement, then close the game and revert back to your old save.

Boosh!

In honor of theĀ Real Civil Engineer!

Research Upgraded Fuzes for bombs, option 1 (tooltip says Boosh!) then Real Civil Engineer’s golden hard hat will spawn on the production tab. Go there and click it. Don’t stall otherwise you’ll miss it!

1million fear sounds a lot, but with enough production upgrades, it’s not so bad.
Once you have T5 prestige grab at least Shadow Holdings, 25 hands and Sweaty Palms prestige perks.

Get your HLTH stock as high as you can for the Ergonmics upgrade, at v15 it is most powerful.

Then, just switch your ammo to manual production and make a few. As you’re making LOADS in one go, Sweaty Palms triggers on all of them, and at high enough levels, can even get you the 1m fear in one go.

AhaUser1’s Golden Finger

Probably the longest one, but using the cascade method coupled with increasing golden spawn chances and gold clicks, it isn’t as bad as it sounds. It does need to be done in a single prestige, however.
If you’re doing a run entirely just for this, go with ammo & ships only.
The key prestige talents are Midas Touch, Lucky Intern, Cascading Automation and Shadow Holdings, but you want anything that improves political favours, automatic production, and black market upgrades.

You may also want Alchemy to track number of clicks (see below).

Go through the run, whenever offered a new weapon, choose option 2 to refuse it, the only one you should accept is Ships. You can absolutely do it with full weapons if you like, it’s just more management that the black market upgrades will eclipse.

If entirely concentrating on this, also take the increased golden chance option from any researches in the business column.

Key Stocks
IDLE – Automatic Investments & Illicit Expansion
AFK – Lucky Charm
HLTH – Ammo Fertility
BNKR – Highest Yield

These all boost golden weapon spawns from production, either directly or indirectly.
Note, golden items spawned by other means, such as Alchemy or GLDN stock do not trigger auto clicks from Automatic Investments or Midas Touch.

You also want to spend politic favours on lowering minimum wage to increase production. The more you produce, the more goldens you’ll spawn.

Once you have ships, work on the black market upgrades that make X when you make Y as high as you can or are willing (auto clicker advised tbh).

Now, your production will skyrocket, and you’ll have waves of golden items that are being clicked automatically.

Optionally Tracking Progress

If you’d like way to track it, avoid having the AFK stock at 75% – Schedule Screaming and avoid option 2 for the Escalating Tensions Bulletins research. Both of those auto click the fear machine. However, if you avoid any auto clicks to it, and don’t take or don’t use Sweaty Palms, the only thing that amplifies fear is your golden weapon clicks via the Alchemy prestige perk.

The fear machine tooltip tells you how many times you’ve amplified fear. This should be almost entirely the golden clicks, but you’ll likely still have a few regular fear clicks in there while growing your stocks, so it’s not a perfect, but should be a decent estimate.
