The First Descendant: Useful Information for Begginers

This guide aims to illuminate the path for beginners, offering insights and strategies to ensure your journey is not only enjoyable but also successful. So, strap in, and let’s embark on this adventure together.

Characters

1 – Character selection, there will be 3 characters to choose from to start: Ajax, Viessa and Lepik.
Viesa has an ice element, good control and damage.
Lepik is a pure soldier with a cyber hand – grenades, pulling everyone together, a bazooka hand.
Ajax is a controversial character because he needs to be fixed, and this will probably not happen soon. He is a tank-defer, shields, jump and ult dome shield with a buff inside the standing ones, but with the nuance that this shield does not block AoE, if you stand close to the shield, then almost everything except regular bullets will fly at you, but one way or another it will be needed for the endgame and defenses, plus mods that change skills.
Speaking of mods, I glanced somewhere, they are planning a lot of them, like in warfare cards for build construction. There will be a lot of variations for builds and there already are. 500+ seems to be
We choose a character, start, go through the prologue, get to the hub and then follow the storyline. In fact, first of all, we need to close the storyline and probably instead of capping all sorts of temporary locks, you will simply have to kill bosses according to the storyline. It was like that during the tests, but there we were naturally buffed and the buildup did not cause any difficulties, but here, in theory, it will not work for an average player who is not a nerd to quickly speedrun the storyline and will probably have to be distracted by farming gold and a copter to pump up mods, knocking out suitable characters for bosses and mods for the build. I think nerds will still quickly close everything. We need the storyline because it opens us access to new locks with a higher level of equipment accordingly (and you can also close all the normal missions and launch the hard world mode, like the steel path of Warf).

Equipment

2 – A little about the equipment? Just drop the highest level and max rarity items and continue, you will have to level up mods one way or another, but the costs for resources will be acceptable if you level up everything to half, then only purposefully for endgame builds (it will gobble up millions of gold and copter). This is not Destiny, here you can hang yourself all over with gold equipment. Please note: the reactor affects the skills and it has additional modifiers for different skills, technical, electric, special, etc. Look at each character skill, there are these tags, which skill is technical, which is electric, etc. For example, not all skills of the electro character Bunny are electric, that is, the additional parameters of the electro reactor can be affected not only by electric ones. All the damage of the skills that you then raise with mods comes from the reactor. With a low-level reactor, the skills will be weak. In principle, the interface is accessible and you can figure it out yourself, I don’t want to bother with screenshots and other things.

Pharm

3 – Which characters to farm? All of them, even the ultimate is crafted, in the end you can farm them all, but the slots will be limited at first, but I don’t see this as a problem either. I haven’t tested everyone and this is purely my assessment. In short, good farmer cleaners are Valby, Bunny, Lepik. Boss killers are Frayna, Gley, Sharen. Supports are Jayber, Viessa, Ajax. Don’t get me wrong, there are characters who fiercely clean up rank-and-file mobs on farm missions, there are those who will mainly be picked only on bosses, but if Viessa is a support, this does not mean that she is not used in PvE, she is just more of a control player, and Gley, for example, is a pure berserker with a ton of armor and skills focused on single-target damage with a heal. Jayber used to easily solo kill bosses with turrets during tests, but he was nerfed and now he is essentially one of two healers in the game.
I am giving basic information and will not tell you everything about characters, this will be enough for you to start with, and then you will decide and figure it out yourself

Results

Pump up the level of guns and characters, it all goes to the account rank in warfare, guns and characters have 40 levels of mastery, but in general, the endgame level of guns and reactor will be a hundredth (experience for killing mobs). The gun in the hands gets the most experience, it is most convenient to farm on defense with waves. For example, on defense 34 level in half an hour (7 waves) we took out 300+k gold, it all depends on the speed of killing mobs. Let’s see how things go in the game, dare descendants.
