To obtain the platinum in the game, you need to complete it on Insanity difficulty, which can be a problem for some players. Therefore, I’ve prepared a short guide on how to beat it in the easiest way.
Order of playthroughs.
Use this run to learn the mechanics, enemy behavior, and level layouts.
Second Playthrough – Casual Difficulty (Challenge Run)
-No Healing
-No Blood Collector
Before starting, go to Bonuses -> Special Content and purchase Koketsu (Grace) for 5,000 CP.
This unbreakable knife is essential since you won’t be crafting ammo.
During this run:
Do not use any healing items.
Do not pick up or use the Blood Collector while playing as Grace.
Play on Casual so health auto-recovers to a safe level.
By the end, you should be above 70,000 CP total.
IMPORTANT
Do not waste CP on other bonus items.
Save at least 50,000 CP for Infinite Ammo, if u have more, 50,000 for Infinite RPG (Leon only).
Finishing the game in under 4 hours unlocks the Infinite Ribbon, allowing unlimited saves on Insanity.
Third Playthrough – Insanity Difficulty
Once you’ve purchased Infinite Ammo + Infinite RPG, start a fresh game on Insanity.
The Infinite RPG (Leon only) one-shots all enemies.
It becomes available from Supply Boxes right from the beginning.
For Grace, use the infinite Requiem revolver – regular enemies go down easly.
With infinite weapons and unlimited saves, Insanity becomes significantly easier and much safer to complete.
