The First Descendant: How to Change Your Chat Color

Now you can be even MORE annoying in world chat.

How to do it and whats the point

Picture this, you’re attempting to find a group for a farm route or just to kill a Hard mode Colossus but everyone is ignoring you! They dont care about you! Why? BECAUSE YOURE BORING, BLAND, UNORIGINAL, AND A LOSER! But luckily for you, thats where chat colors come in to save you from mediocrity, and help distinguish you from the sea of orange in world chat because the TFD devs dont know how to code more than one chat channel

As you can see, its pretty obvious how much “louder” a colored chat is from anyone else and can help get your messages caught by others when the chat is quickly scrolling by.

To change the text simply use the code below in chat. Reminder: The chat text limit is EXTREMELY small and using this will limit what you can say even more. And before you try it, no you cant add this to your steam name and have it be a different color, sorry but thats already been tried.

<colorname> TEXT </>

All of these were found by reddit users, and the post I found them on is: “Colored Text” on R/TheFirstDescendant. I just wanted to consolidate them all in a guide, write down new finds, and have examples visible for people who want to see what they look like. If you find any make a comment, Pink has yet to be found and is trying to be found.
