Stats

Some of these are pretty self explanatory

HP = Health points
STM = Stamina
Ammo = Ammo for currently equipped ranged weapon
Attack = Damage with melee weapons
Defense = Your defense stat
Ballistics = Damage with ranged weapons
Bull.Defense = I assume this is misspelt and is supposed to be “Ballistic Defense”? BULL Defense doesn’t make sense to me.
Agility = For evasion? Maybe also a modifier for attack?
Luck = I want to assume this is for calculating whether or not you’re afflicted with status effects. May also be tied to Monty’s ability to make brews?
Evasion = Based on Agility and maybe luck?(technically a hidden stat but it feels better here)

Hidden Stats

Here are some stats that I’ve seen listed but can only speculate on. At this point I’m assuming they are all associated with a sanity stat. I haven’t let any of them get bad so I’m not sure what will happen.

Calm = From showering and playing games.
Morale = Playing games
Social = Social media and eating with Roommates
Hygiene – brushing teeth, showering, gum?

The game keeps mentioning your breath so i’m sure it’s important at some point.

Video Games

Playing games passes time, gives you Exp, Calm, and sometimes Morale.
When you play the same game enough times you gain a skill (usually). Here is a list of the games i’ve gotten so far. Will update with locations and other info later.

I once had a neck beard otaku kind of guy knock on my door and was selling games. I saw one was more expensive and I could afford it so i got it. It was some kind of sailor moon knock off. The guy freaked out and tried to offer more money than I paid for it then offered me a sword. I kept the game but didn’t play it before restarting my game. Just making note of it.

Playing Video Games is a great way to pass time in game and passing time is a good way to get visitors. Playing a game that the main character is interested in seems to pass 2 hours of time. This goes down to 1 hour or even 30 minutes of time passed depending on the game.

Knock Knock!

Always answer the door! Yes Always! (I think)

I decided to just help every person on the other side my apartment door however i can and it’s been very helpful every time. Need some help finding your kid? I’m on the job! Injured and need a place to crash? Take my bedroom! Carrying an item in your hand menacingly? Hold on while I open my door!

Here is a list of encounters that i can recall:

Vendors:
Doctor Lady
Food Guy
Sports Gear Guy
Rare Jewelry Guy – This guy will let you sell him items
Otaku Game Guy
Gun Guy?

Roommates:
Dan: Creepy guy that likes games, let him hang out.
Xaria & Monty: They need a place to crash, don’t be ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.
Sophie: Her mother comes looking for her at some point, be nice to her. Later Sophie will come claiming that her mom said to come to you.

Other events:
Nothing: when i opened the door there was an energy drink on the ground
Bum: He just asks for food. I’ve fed him twice now.
Pizza Guy: Selling 12 slices of rotting pizza for $6 (this is a good thing lol)

Roommates

As far as I know, you don’t strictly need to have any roommates to play the game. But it does make it much easier. The trade off is that when you make food, you are now splitting the food with your room mates. So the more roommates the more food you need and the more food you need to cook at one time to make an impact on health or stamina.

Here is a list of Roommates I’ve gotten and how to get them:
(i know this is repeated, just keeping a record)

Dan: Creepy guy that likes games, let him hang out.

Xaria & Monty: They need a place to crash, don’t be weird about it.

Sophie: Her mother comes looking for her at some point, be nice to her. Later Sophie will come claiming that her mom said to come to you.

Leigh: If you beat the creature on F2 instead of running from it, it turns into Leigh the merchant. You can recruit Leigh by talking to them.

Save!

Always save!
Be smart about when you are saving your game. Make sure you have done all the things you want to do and are fully prepared to leave your apartment when you save. Craft the items you want and make sure you’re fully equipped. Shower, brush your teeth, or make some food THEN save. Trust me this saves a lot of time.
