Hello, fellow Nomad Idle players! If you’re looking to conquer the game after the recent balance patch, you’ve come to the right place. This guide aims to provide you with a comprehensive strategy to help you reach the endgame and beyond.
General Strategy
- Infernal Ray – Highest damage output, bar some class skills
- Blizzard Sigil – Decent damage + stops enemies from moving
- Entangle – Second highest damage + stop enemies from moving
- Dancing Dagger – Somewhat decent damage, can be really good with high AGI
My stats were generally as follows:
- STR: 75
- DEX: 75
- AGI: Dump after others, you want it to be around 40 at least
- VIT: ~20 to give a bit more defense
- WIS: 0
- INT: 75
- SPI: 75
Summoned pet is always Wolf with the Hinterland Heart trinket.
The rational here is to maximise your damage with those passive skills and your class skills while also stopping some enemies so you are not overwhelmed. Infernal Ray does most of the damage, followed by Entangle, with the exception of some class skills.
As for equips, I only maxed out Tiers 1, 2 and 3 to 99, and some Tier 5 weapons as they were just too useful. I believe that max’ing out Tier 4s could make things easier, but the time cost starts getting pretty high after Tier 3. Depending on your max’ed items, you might need to level up your passives to around 60 or 70 in order to do proper damage with some classes.
Summoner and Templar
Templar was also annoying because it just didn’t do enough damage. The initials suck and you must use the Wolf, so using the Hedgehog to get Aura of Pain is our of question. The only way I managed with this dude was to use the skills I mentioned above, but I need to increase the passive levels of all skills so that I could do enough damage before dying on Void Voidkeep 10. After leaving it running for a couple hours I was pleasantly surprised it worked.
