General Game Rules for LOST ALTR

 

Card Types

♠ & ♣ Spades / Clubs = Enemies
♦ Diamonds = Weapons
♥ Hearts = Heal Essence (only one per Room Hand, the rest are discarded)
Bare fists = Weapon value 1

Weapons & Combat

Choose your weapon
Pick a Diamond to set as weapon
Or fight with bare fists (value 1)
Attack an enemy
If Enemy > Weapon → take damage equal to the difference
If Enemy ≤ Weapon → defeat it
After your first enemy, you can only attack enemies lower than the last one you defeated

Talisman of Passage

Use to reshuffle the Room Hand into the Deck of Destiny
Each use deals damage
Damage increases by +1 each use

Oathkeeper Knife

Gain Rune Charges by defeating enemies
At 3 charges, sacrifice blood to:
Reset Talisman penalty
Fully restore Essence
Reset Rune Charges

Victory & Progression

Clear the Deck of Destiny to defeat the Trail Room
Completing trials unlocks Aspect Cards (powerful abilities for future runs)
Essence at 0 = defeat
