There are 20 achievements in Last Pirates: Die Together, and none of them are so obscure that you’d need a wiki open on a second monitor — but a handful are worded in ways that make you second-guess what the game actually wants. I put this together for anyone chasing the full 20/20, whether you’re doing it solo or dragging friends along and trying to split the work sensibly.
What pushed me to write it up: the descriptions lie a little. Loot your crewmates deliver doesn’t count toward your gold achievements, for example, and the difference between a “valuable item” and a shattered one is something you only notice after you’ve already wrecked it. So this is the version I wish I’d had from the start — grouped so you can knock out related achievements in the same run instead of sailing back and forth.
How the Achievements Break Down
Five rough categories cover the whole list. Runs overlap a lot, so if you plan your time on the boat you can clear several of these in a single level without going out of your way.
- Progress & Completion — first run, all chapters, full loot delivery, tutorial
- Gold & Loot — big deliveries, unspent gold, the monkey, the Golden Ass
- Enemies & Combat — six named enemies, a cannon kill, a two-for-one bomb
- Reviving & Healing — self-revives, Iron Butt, Healing Fish, the guillotine
- Exploration & Secrets — the mast climb
Progress & Completion
These four are the ones that come naturally as you play, so I wouldn’t chase them deliberately. Just don’t skip the tutorial — it’s an achievement, and it also teaches the delivery loop you’ll lean on for the gold list.
| Achievement | What to Do |
|---|---|
| First run | Complete your first day in the game. |
| All circles of hell | Complete all available chapters of the game. |
| Full clear | Deliver every loot item that appeared on the level to the boat. |
| Graduated | Complete the tutorial from start to finish. |
Gold & Loot Achievements
This is where I’d focus first, because most of it stacks. Big Money is the one that trips people up: you need to carry more than 1300¢ of loot to the boat in a single delivery, and loot delivered by your friends does not count toward it. If you’re playing co-op and let a crewmate do the hauling, you’ll finish the level rich and still miss the achievement. Haul it yourself.
| Achievement | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Big Money | Collect loot worth more than 1300¢ in total and deliver it to the boat yourself. Loot delivered by your friends does not count. |
| Successful Delivery | Deliver a valuable item to the boat intact and undamaged. I got this one by bringing the 800¢ girl statue to the boat in one piece. |
| Cashback | Activate the Golden Ass cashback — you have to lose your Golden Ass once so that coins spill out of it. |
| Rich Deadman | Collect at least 1000¢ and leave the shop without spending any of it. |
| Money first! | Find the monkey and give it a coin. |
Successful Delivery is the sneaky one — you can walk the whole route carefully and still crack the item on a bad jump at the end. The 800¢ girl statue is what worked for me, but any valuable item counts as long as it arrives undamaged. And Cashback is basically the opposite mindset: do not protect your Golden Ass. Let it be lost so the coins spill out, then the achievement pops.
Enemies & Combat Achievements
Six of these seven achievements point at the same list, so treat Full bestiary as your checklist and the named kills as byproducts. The sixth enemy type — Snake — is easy to forget because it doesn’t have its own dedicated achievement, but it’s still required for the bestiary.
| Achievement | What to Do |
|---|---|
| No Head, No Problem | Find Head Man and defeat him. |
| One shot – one boss | Use a cannon to kill any enemy. |
| Shark on land | Find the Shark and kill it. |
| Don’t blink | Find the Man in Shadow and defeat him. |
| Full bestiary | Defeat all six enemy types required for this achievement. |
| Loud deaths | Gather two enemies close together and kill them with a single bomb. |
For Full bestiary, here’s the full set of six you need to kill:
- Head Man
- Shark
- Man in Shadow
- Ear
- Anchorer
- Snake
Loud deaths is the one I’d deliberately set up rather than hope for. Herd two enemies into the same pocket of space and drop a single bomb on both of them — the blast has to take them out together, so positioning matters more than the bomb itself.
Reviving & Healing Achievements
These scale with how much punishment you eat, which is a strange thing to say about achievements, but Fishy doctor in particular is a grind: 500 HP restored to allies via Healing Fish takes a while if you’re not intentionally feeding your crewmates hits to heal off.
| Achievement | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Pulled yourself | When you lose your butt, pull it back to yourself manually. |
| Nine lives | Revive yourself three times during a single level using Iron Butt. |
| Fishy doctor | Restore a total of 500 HP to your allies using Healing Fish. |
| Clean cut | Lose your butt to the guillotine, then get revived. |
Nine lives and Clean cut can be planned around the same level — three Iron Butt revives in one run, plus a guillotine death and revive if you can line it up. Just don’t accidentally do the guillotine one without the revive lined up, or you’ve lost the butt for nothing.
Exploration & Secrets
On the top is the only achievement that’s purely about movement skill. Climb all the way to the top of the ship’s mast — there’s a short parkour section on the way up, and it’s the kind of climb that looks trivial until you’re halfway there. Take your time on the jumps rather than rushing, because falling means starting the section over.
If you want to see the route before you attempt it, the original guide includes a video walkthrough of the mast climb:
Wrapping Up the Set
That’s all 20. Nothing here is genuinely missable in the “restart the game” sense — the one thing I’d actually caution against is coasting through co-op and letting your crewmates handle the gold deliveries, since that quietly blocks Big Money no matter how well the run goes. Everything else should fall into place as you play through the chapters with a loose plan in your head.
