This is a short day 4 guide for unlockable characters. If I remember this post I’ll update with more.
All Characters Unlocked so far
Chipper Jones- Make it to the postseason in league play
Sammy Sosa- 60hr in Wiggle Ball apparently. I did this but never saw the unlock. Sammy just showed up out of nowhere.
Kenny Lofton- Steal 5 bases in a single game.
Jason Giambi- Hold a total 2001 coins. Pretty sure it doesn’t count lifetime coins: you actively have to have a total of 2001 or more. So spending coins will set you back.
Vlad Guerrero- Open a card pack. I’ve seen you have to pull his card (sluggers) but on my first pack opened I got him.
Mark McGwire- ???
Jeff Bagwell- ???

Working on beating the game on 4 star difficulty- my guess is Bagwell is unlocked getting to the postseason and McGwire is unlocked by winning the whole thing.
Chico Papas- Beat season mode
Amy Bostwick- pretty sure it’s 15 tag outs
Julie Dunkel- Hit 10 windows total across game modes.
Mr. Clanky- SHIFT+Click on the Clanky action figure in the clubhouse
Sunny Day- Hit the scoreboard on Parks Dept. Field 2
Vinnie the Gooch- Complete the tutorial
