Regions of Ruin: Runegate – All Collectibles Guide

This guide will help you with all the “collectible” achievements – finding all cats, drinking all drinks, recruiting all companions and finding all Thrumgr’s notes.
Please be aware that this guide may contain major spoilers for some questlines (including the main one), since some collectibles are associated to the natural plot progression!
[Thrumgr’s notes part is a work in progress! For now it only contains the location of the most frequently asked notes, but I plan on adding all of them]

Cats

There are four cats you can get in this game: the orange cat Stefan, the grey tabby cat, the sphynx cat Zanj and the persian cat Scraps.

  • The Orange cat named Stefan can be found in the Recluse Cottage area. To actually invite it to your settlement you need to complete the quest associated to Mattias and Sigrid’s family, then talk to Gry in Rivenbrook to start a quest to bring Stefan along with you.
  • The Tabby cat can be found the the Verdant Cavern area, at the end of the Deepstone Hollow location, and it agrees to come to your settlement pretty straightforwardly.
  • The Persian cat named Scraps can be found in the Lower district of Thaskrabask area. You will be greeted by a beggar asking for money, giving him the maximal amount (100 coins) will make him run away leaving his cat to you.
  • The Sphynx cat named Zanj can be found in the Concealed Cave Mouth area. In order to convince Zanj to join your settlement, you need to complete all the Resistance quests (in order for them to move to this location in the first place), help them installing at the new base and exhaust all dialogue. Then talking to Zanj should do the trick.

Drinks

There are 10 unique drinks in the game in total : ale, stout, mushroom wine, mead, two slime potions, Fjuka drink, cactus juice, worm blood and ink.

  • Ale and Stout can be found in abundance on the map, so I doubt that you’ve opened this guide for them. But just in case – ale is found in glass mugs, while stout is found in the wooden ones. Ale from the screenshot is in the Isolated Farm location, and Stout is in the Hermit’s ruins.

  • Mead can be found at the Bombil’s beehive sanctuary in the southern part of Otam.
  • Old mushroom wine can be found in the topmost room of the Bazguramundokh’s tower at the Rivenbrook.
  • Fjuka drink can be found in the last location in Otam, Raven’s perch, which you can revisit after beating the boss. The drink is contained in a horn and can be found in one of houses on the ground level.
  • Worm blood can be found in the Moonwell Oasis area in Ealam, right in the second tent.
  • Cactus juice can be found in the Besieged Farm area in Ealam, in Jasoor’s house after you help him.
  • Opal Slime potion can be found at Hrisad’s encampment area in Ealam.
  • Second Slime potion can be found in the Underground Cabin area, which is accessed by descending the rope in the Winding Tunnel area in Ealam. The drink is on the right from the cabin.
  • Ink can be found in the very last location in Ealam, Sultan’s palace, which you can revisit after beating the final boss. The drink is situated in the far right corner of the room.

Companions

There is a total of 12 companions in the game: dwarfs Kel, Clip Lucky Shot, Aggard and Ronim, Stone Skulls Colamar, Alath and Denos, Wolf Ponyo, greenskin Scut, the ancient Earth Golem, orc Sikra and the slime Reginald.

  • Kel can be found very early into the game by helping him at the area in Otam.
  • Similarly, Clip Lucky Shot can be recruited after you help him at the Overrun Cave area in Otam.
  • Ponyo can be found in the Wolf Grove area in Otam via interaction.
  • ColamarAlath and Denos are available after you finish the Stone Skulls questline and talk to them in the Stone Skull clan hideout in Otam.
  • Reginald can be bought at the Olon’s breeding ground area in Otam.
  • Scut can be recruited after you help him beating his rival at the Contentious Camp area in Otam.
  • Earth Golem will serve you after you free it at The Lost Golem area in Ealam.
  • Sikra will join you after you help him in his war against the Blue Cinders, you’ll find him at the Raided Blue Cinder Settlement area in Ealam.
  • Finally, Aggard and Ronim can be recruited for money in your Main Hall at the Rivenbrook after it’s restored and repaired.
