How to complete secret Cactus Quest
So you’ve playing Far Far West and probably noticed these Cactus’ on the dessert map but unsure what it means. Dont worry cuz this guide is here to help.
Across the dessert map there are 12 cactus shattered around – 6 baby cactus and 6 parent cactus. Each baby one will have a hat related to there parent – Your job to reunite the baby with the corresponding/corrent parent. Here’s how 🙂
Note: You need to reunite all the Cacti in one mission – it doesn’t save progress inbetween missions like some of the other quest[i\]
Quick Tips
- If you wanna try completing it yourself each Cactus Parent gives a hint to where it’s baby is
- If you have Portal unlocked it’s worth bring – saves you time walking from each cactus
- If your just trying to complete this quest it’s much easier on normal difficulty – don’t have to worry about storms or anything like that 🙂
Skull Cactus
The Baby Skull Cactus is located on around central north of the map on a small island surrounded by water. There’s also some large ribcage-like bones next to it.

Bottle/Fishing Cactus
The Baby Bottle/Fishing Cactus is waiting at the southwest Oasis.
The Parent to this Cactus is in center of the map, where the river starts.There’s also a big mountain behind him

Barrel Cactus
The Barrel Baby Cactus is located midwest of map, not to far from a Marauder camp
The Parent Cactus is quite far north, next to it is a cliff/cave system

The Baby Rock Cactus is on the northest of the map – it’s next a pyramid like structure
The Parent for this Cactus is a little different with a pickaxe on it’s head instead of a rock – this one is southeast of the map, near a bridge that goes over the river.

The Baby Value Cactus is in the mid southeast of the map, in a valley of sorts. It’s a bit high up so you’ll have to do some jumping/parkour to reach it.

Bush Cactus
The Bush Cactus is located tippy-top north near a shipwreck

Rewards
After completing this you’ll receive the Cactus Day Joker (YIPPIE)
