Limbus Company: Guide to MDE Tristatus Teams

The core of how tristatus teams work is very simple. You want to trigger the fusion EGO gifts of three different statuses at once. Meaning you want to make a 7 sinner team that has at least 5 sinners that have status A, 5 that have status B and 5 that have status C.

This can be achieved with the following pattern:

• 1 ID that inflicts statuses A + B + C (core of these teams)
• 2 IDs that inflict statuses A + B
• 2 IDs that inflict statuses A + C
• 2 IDs that inflict statuses B + C

These teams rely heavily on fusion EGO gifts to be viable, and should therefore not be tested outside of MD, as they frankly suck as actual teams. (except for maybe bleed+charge+rupture)

But in MDs, they are of course very powerful. They allow you to easily winrate A60 F15 MDE, even if you do secret bosses. (or pick an unfocused pack at F15 like I have) (Not sure if this applies to the latter two teams)

As of writing this, there are 3 tristatus teams you can build.

If any more tristatus teams are found, I will add them to this guide.

This is essential. You’re going to need these to gain a lot of cost and to buy a lot of EGO gifts. You’re going to need a lot of EGO Gifts to buff everyone, especially fusion ones, Don’t worry about the starlight cost, as long as you go for max adversity you will get everything you spent back and some more as extra.

Don’t worry about high adversity, a tristatus team will steamroll max adversity anyways. If you only want to go to Floor 5, you’re better off running a monostatus team instead.

Do keep in mind that these buffs will also make sure the IDs without buffs will get enough clash power early on.

This is something you always need to be wary of. If an identity no longer has any copies of a skill in its skill pool (example, all skill 1s were replaced to skill 3s), any statuses exclusive to that skill will effectively be erased from the identity, making it possible to get locked out of Fusion EGO gifts.

This is easily noticeable with R Corp. Heathcliff. As only his S1 has Charge, only his S2 has Bleed and only his S3 has Rupture.

What this effectively means is that if you replace all skills that R Corp. Heathcliff has into S3s, he would effectively become a rupture-only ID, locking you out of Bleed & Charge Fusion EGO gifts for that run.

Easily the best tristatus team there is currently.

The best team composition for this I have tried is the following in this deploy order:

1. The House of Spiders: The Ring Nursefather Hong Lu (Bleed+Charge, Insane clashing, damage and AoE. enough said)
2. The House of Spiders: The Ring Apprentice Faust (Bleed+Charge, Same as Hong Lu. A bit weaker but still insanely good.)
3. LCE E.G.O::AEDD Gregor (Rupture+Charge, Has an immortality gimmick and pretty good AoE damage. can also give charge to other IDs.)
4. Lobotomy E.G.O::In the Name of Love and Hate Don Quixote (Rupture+Charge. Also has nice AoE and damage. can be easily replaced with W. Corp Don though.)
5. The Prince of La Manchaland Meursault (Bleed+Rupture, Very good support, can provide healing to the entire team. Benefits from bloodfeast.)
6. The Princess of La Manchaland Rodion (Bleed+Rupture, Also a very good support, buffs meursault and can heal damaged teammates with her passive. Benefits from bloodfeast.)
7. R Corp. 4th Pack Rabbit Heathcliff (Bleed+Rupture+Charge, Core of the team. Might not be total deadweight if his S3 goes first.)

These IDs are the best choices, but if you don’t have them there are some alternatives.

• Lobotomy E.G.O::Red Eyes & Penitence Ryoshu :: Solid ID. Good clashing, nice damage on S3-2. Her unique charge can’t benefit from potency or max count increases however and her damage is quite mediocre.
• R Corp. 4th Pack Rhino Meursault :: Outdated ID. Mediocre clashing, barely gains charge, lacks coins. Only use this if you have to.

• The Priest of La Manchaland Gregor :: A solid ID. Can benefit from bloodfeast, but requires multiple use of defensive to start using it early on. His enhanced S3 deals a nice amount of damage and he has a one-time immortality passive, but he’s definitely the worst out of the La Mancha trio.

• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Yi Sang :: An okay pick. His numbers are quite mediocre, but it will do the job.
• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Don Quixote :: One of the best alternatives. Good numbers. Some actually prefer her over QoH Don because she is more stable and her sanity fluctuates way less. Has a 5 coin S3 which benefits a ton from coin power.
• W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent Meursault :: Quite bad. Bad clashing and numbers. Avoid.
• W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent Hong Lu :: An 00 ID. Somehow has better clashing than Meursault, but still quite bad. Avoid.
• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Outis ::A more modern ID. Numbers are still mediocre, but way better than the last two. Can benefit from Charge Potency.
• Rosespanner Workshop Fixer Gregor :: Another 00 ID. Mediocre numbers and clashing, though he IS the core for another tristatus team. Still, avoid him here.

Granted, I have not played this team, but the best team composition seems to be:

• Lobotomy E.G.O::In the Name of Love and Hate Don Quixote (Rupture+Sinking+Charge, yes there is a hidden passive that makes her always count as all three statuses. Core of this team.)
• Lobotomy E.G.O::The Sword Sharpened with Tears Rodion (Sinking+Charge, very OP sinking ID with great damage.)
• R Corp. 4th Pack Reindeer Ishmael (Sinking+Charge. There are no better options.)
• LCB Sinner Hong Lu (Rupture+Sinking. Again, no better options.)
• Lobotomy E.G.O::Sunshower Heathcliff (Rupture+Sinking. Yes, really. Potential man finds his potential.)
• LCE E.G.O::AEDD Gregor (Rupture+Charge. Still a very solid ID with nice damage and AoE, can give charge to other IDs, which the older IDs like Reindeer Ishmael might appreciate.)
• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Outis (Rupture+Charge, most modern choice out of the W Corp. IDs)

If you don’t have these specific IDs… well, there really aren’t that many alternatives.

• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Yi Sang :: Still an okay pick. Will do the job.
• W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent Meursault :: Still a bad pick. But there are way less alternatives, so maybe.
• Rosespanner Workshop Fixer Gregor :: Well, it’s still an alternative to AEDD Greg.

• R Corp. 4th Pack Reindeer Rodion :: Overall all a way worse ID than KoD Rodion. Way less damage and self-sinking for some reason. But if you don’t have her, this will suffice.

I have not played this one either, but the best composition here seems to be:

• Rosespanner Workshop Fixer Gregor (Tremor+Rupture+Charge. The core of the team.
• Rosespanner Workshop Rep Rodion (Tremor+Charge. No other options.)
• Rosespanner Workshop Fixer Meursault (Tremor+Charge. No other options.)
• Heishou Pack – Wu Branch Adept Yi Sang (Tremor+Rupture. A very good and modern ID. Easily the best option.)
• LCCB Assistant Manager Ishmael (Tremor+Rupture. Slightly better than LCCB Ryoshu due to her 5 fragile on S3.)
• Lobotomy E.G.O::In the Name of Love and Hate Don Quixote (Rupture+Charge. Nice damage and AoE.)
• W Corp. L4 Cleanup Agent – CCA Heathcliff (Rupture+Charge. S3 has a nice amount of coins, a pretty modern ID as well.)

These IDs seemed to be the best choices, but again there aren’t many alternatives.

• LCCB Assistant Manager Ryoshu :: An okay-ish ID. Has better offense level and numbers than LCCB Ishmael, but is also an ammo ID which means that she will be pretty much deadweight after seven S3s. Also lacks fragile on S3.

• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Don Quixote :: A more stable alternative with more coins. Explained this one before.
• W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent Hong Lu :: An 00 ID. Still quite bad.
• R Corp. 4th Pack Rabbit Heathcliff :: If you want to. Would be more useful in Bleed+Charge+Rupture, but his 4 fragile on S3 is always nice.
• W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Outis :: A more modern ID. Likely the best alternative avaivable.

Burn + Bleed + Poise (w/ Captain ishmael)

This one was something I attempted to craft once, but realized we are one Burn+Poise ID short. Maybe if Arayashu has those statuses, this team could be possible.

Tremor + Rupture + Poise (w/ LCCB Ryoshu)

This one could also be possible… but tremor+poise is an unexisting archetype at this point, we don’t even have a singular ID that combines those two, I’m fairly sure. (well, aside LCCB Ryoshu.) So it’s going to take a while until this is possible.
