Forza Horizon 6: All 9 Treasure Cars Locations

A complete guide to all 9 Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6. Many players confuse them with Barn Finds – they’re separate systems: Treasure Cars are available from day one and require no progression to unlock. All locations personally verified with map and car screenshots attached.

Treasure Cars vs Barn Finds – What’s the Difference

A lot of players mix these two up. They’re completely separate systems.

Treasure Cars:

  • Available from the very start of the game – no progression required to unlock them
  • Clues become available as you explore regions – just visiting a region is enough
  • You can drive the car immediately after collecting – no restoration wait, no fee to speed it up
  • Cannot be bought or unlocked any other way – finding them is the only option
  • 9 total, one per region

How it works: when you enter a region, the game notifies you that a clue is available. The clue is a postcard photo showing the car’s surroundings – but the hints are intentionally vague. That’s what this guide is for.

To collect: drive up to the car, hit “Collect” – done. You can track found cars under Cars → Treasure Cars (bottom right of the menu).

Tip: if you’re struggling to spot the car in the zone, switch to drone mode (pause → D-pad down, then up). A purple icon will appear on the map when you’re close enough.

Achievement: find all 9 to unlock the Treasure Hunter achievement.

All 9 Treasure Cars – Locations

1. Nissan Figaro ’91 ✅

Region: Tokyo City
How to find: A small car park by the river at the south end of Tokyo City, near where several bridges run close together. The clue shows the Rainbow Bridge in the background – but it’s visible from everywhere, so ignore it. Look for the small parking area right at the water’s edge.

2. Dodge Charger ’69 ✅

Region: Minamino
How to find: There’s a golf course in the region with a clubhouse on the east side. The Charger is parked around the back of it – approach from behind the building.

3. Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE ’85 ✅

Region: Ohtani
How to find: Find the cluster of large power transmission antennas in the region. The RX-7 is parked right next to one of them – easy to miss if you approach from the wrong angle.

4. Porsche 959 ’87 ✅

Region: Shimanoyama
How to find: Parked outside a “365” shop (Forza’s version of Japan’s 7/11 convenience stores) – but there are several in the region. The one you want is in the small town area near the top of the region.

5. BMW M1 ’81 ✅

Region: Hokubu
How to find: The clue shows a railway bridge column – but the bridge runs the entire length of the region. The M1 is parked right at the far end of the bridge, in the upper part of Hokubu.

6. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR ’95 ✅

Region: Takashiro
How to find: The only Treasure Car not tucked in a car park – it’s sitting next to the river on the far west side of the map. The most scenic location of all nine.

7. Lancia Stratos HF Stradale ’74 ✅

Region: Sotoyama
How to find: The region is almost entirely covered in snow, so the snowy clue photo is no help. The car is halfway up the mountain, just down the hill from the Off Piste Wristband event.

8. Ford GT ’05 ✅

Region: Nangan
How to find: At the very south of the map there’s an unmarked coastal trail running alongside the orange section of road. The Ford GT is parked right there.

9. Nissan Safari Turbo ’85 ✅

Region: Ito
How to find: On the far east side of the map there’s a wind farm. The Safari is parked directly under one of the windmills, just slightly south-west of the Turbine Trailer Drift Zone.
