A work-in-progess guide for currently obtainable achievements that are in the game as well as hints/solutions to the encryptions!!
Introduction
P.S. If anyone knows how to unlock the last achievement I’d be really grateful to get a hint on how to get it so I could complete the guide!

Decoder Achievements 5/5
Veni, Vidi, Vici – Decipher a caesar ciphered note. This is the simplest deciphering tool the game has to offer, and is featured in the game’s tutorial on Day 0, so the instructions on how to use it are already given in the game.
Guard rails not needed – Decipher a railfence ciphered note
This tool is given on Day 6. Two numbers are required to decipher a message, so you are given an answer with 2 numbers from a clue, you should try using the railfence decoder.
Lost in the Trenches – Decipher a columnar ciphered note.
This deciphering tool is given on Day 8. It is important to keep in mind that the number of columns on the device can range between 4-6, so keep your eyes open for clues which give you a list of numbers within that range.
Blaise of Glory – Decipher a vigenere ciphered note
Arguably the most difficult deciphering tool out of the four. It is given to the player on Day 11, and the clues required to use it are spread across multiple pieces of evidence in the archive.
Brutus forced – Stab at it until something gives
You can get this achievement from as early as Day 0, during the tutorial at OKO HQ. Getting it is simple, as all you have to do is incorrectly decipher the caesar ciphered message multiple times until you get the achievement.
Miscellaneous Achievements 7/7
Art school dropout – Treat the job application form as your personal canvasThis one is very easy to get. Once you start a new game, you will be eventually be asked to fill out a job application. Triggering the achievement may take a while, but as you start covering the entire page with ink you should be able to get it.
John Investigation – Complete the informant registry without making a single mistake
I recommend getting this achievement on your second playthrough of the game, as you will know everyone’s appearance and aliases by then.
RYŚ – Stefan Kret
BAZANT – Stanisław Piasecki
BÓBR – Władysław Labiejka
BORSUK – Cyprian Carkowski
DUDEK – Jerzy Walkczak
GIL – Ryszard Kowal

KRUK – Karol Ptak
KUKUŁKA – Helena Rudnik

SIKORKA – Ewa Zamojska
SOJKA – Leon Sawicki
SZPAK – Bogdan Mazur
WILK – Maciej Jegleniec
WYDRA – Henryk Nowicki
No help is coming – Dial an emergency number
Dial 112.
You should be able to do this very early in the game as you are given access to the phone almost immediately.
Chain smoker – You know that’s bad for you right?
The trigger event required to get this achievement is pretty self-explanatory. Start smoking!!!
I know where everything is! – Maximize your desk space usage
The way to get this achievement is already explained in its description. It is easier to get it later in the game, as you have more items in the archive. Using the suspect reports and deciphering tools is recommended as they use up a lot of desk space.
Mixtape – DJ Aleksey on the beat!
It took me the longest to figure out how to get this achievement, but you can easily access it from Day 0 during the tutorial. All this achievement requires you to do is to mess around with the buttons on the tape player while it is in use until you get it.
Grab your foil hat – How deep does the rabbit hole go?
Also one of the more self-explanatory achievements. It gets triggered towards the end of the game, as the amount of connections and evidence you have on the corkboard must be high.
Endings 6/7
Traitor’s welcome! – Join the resistance cause
To get this achievement, you need to gain Cyprian’s trust so that on the last meeting with him, he reveals to you the fake and the real address when you agree to help him. The next day, when asked by your superior where the location is, give the fake address.
Cold blooded killer – How could you?
To get this achievement, you need to gain Cyprian’s trust so that on the last meeting with him, he reveals to you the fake and the real address when you agree to help him. The next day, when asked by your superior where the location is, give the real address.
Model citizen – Report everything. Question nothing.
During your last meeting with Cyprian, he will reveal the truth about the archive, and will ask you whether you will help. Say no.
Good intentions – End up right on track
You get this achievement during your last meeting with Cyprian. The ending will be triggered when you reveal your occupation to Cyprian when he still doesn’t trust you fully (he will not mention the archive at all during this conversation).
Skill issue – Underperform your way out the door
You must miss your quota multiple times, until you get a phone call from your superior informing you of your termination. You also achieve it by not submitting the correct identity of a POI before the imaginary deadline set by your superior.
Liability – Become more of a risk than a resource
This is similar to the ‘Skill Issue’ achievement, but rather than just missing your quota, you submit the identities incorrectly and in a large amount at once.

Full Solutions
- All of the decryptions in this interval are all caesar shifts. They can be easily deciphered through trial and error. Caesar shifts found in later bags of evidence will not be listed in the solutions due to the simplicity of solving them.
Evidence Bag 7
- Railfence decryption – the hint to decoding that message is given on the front of the paper. Solution:Just put the numbers into the decoder. 4,2
Evidence Bag 8
- Railfence decryption – the hint is given on the front of the paper. Solution:The hint tells you to count the vertices on the shapes. 6,4
- Railfence decryption – the hint is given on the paper. Solution:Count the holes on the paper. 5,3
Evidence Bag 9
- Columnar decryption – the hint is given on the back of the paper. Solution:This is simple addition. 45231
Evidence Bag 10
- Railfence decryption – the hint is given on the front of the paper. Solution:Calculate 30/4 in decimal form. 7,5
Evidence Bag 11
- Columnar decryption – the hint is given on the front of the paper. Solution:This is a simple A1Z26 cipher where A=1, B=2 etc. 2143
Evidence Bag 12
- Vigenère decryption – the clue is the ink on the bottom right of the paper. You have seen this blue ink elsewhere in other evidence. Solution:The ink was found on Photo #17 from Evidence Bag 8, Photo #22 from Evidence Bag 11, and Photo #25 from Evidence Bag 12. The solution to the cipher appears when you turn these photos around. OVERSEAS

Evidence Bag 13
- Columnar decryption – the hint is at the front of the paper. Solution:The amount of crosses in the column going from left to right. 165342
Evidence Bag 14
- Railfence decryption – the hint is also at the front of the paper. Solution:This is another simple one. It’s just the time shown on the clocks. 6,3
Evidence Bag 15
- Columnar decryption – the hint is at the back of the paper. Solution:Count the number of vertices on each shape, going from the top of the page to the bottom. 526314
Evidence Bag 16
- Vigenère decryption – the hint is at the back of the paper. Solution:“Don’t turn your back on caesar” suggests that you need to flip over all of the messages you have decrypted using the letter shift decoder. QUOVADIS
Evidence Bag 19
- Columnar decryption – you have seen this line of blue ink on a different piece of evidence. Solution:This line was seen on “Typing Tasks” from Evidence Bag 15. Pay close attention to the order of the tasks. 34125
