Guide to get all the achievements in The Operator.

 

Story Achievements

“Welcome to the FDI”, “First Day”, “Second Day”, “Third Day” and “Completed the game” are all achievements that are non-missable and unlocked by simply playing the story.

Missable achievements

Watched Credits
Not sure if you can actually miss this achievement, but as the title suggest just wait until the credits are completely done.

Ghost Car
During Pendell’s “Parking” case, you will get surveillance footage with a missing part.
Hal will contact you, accept the deal to get access to the full footage.
When the full footage is restored, scan the car to find the model, then give the info to Pendell.

RTFM
Open the Terminal in Applications > Terminal and type “help”

Skinner’s Office
Note : This will not make you fail the mission.

When Andrews is on the eighth floor :

  • Take the door to your left
  • Take the hallway to the left
  • Take the second door

Uncovered HAL’s Identity
I personally chose the most kind answers possible, accepted all tasks from Hal immediately and always lied to hide the fact I’m working with her. Eventually on day 3 I got a hidden camera feed which led to getting this achievement.

Keep clicking on the desktop, you’ll eventually get it.

Saved Agent Pendell
This achievement might be missed if you don’t follow the guide properly. In my playthrough, the bomb was Autonomous Ticking Device but was missing a “receptacle” module that required disconnection. If that happens to you as well (since I don’t know if the bombs are random), you can go to the next step because you did disconnect all the modules required.

So :

  • Read the instructions carefully
  • You can ask Pendell for information about the wires to remove choices from the “cut a wire” dialog which might help you save time
  • Try to ask as little questions to Pendell as possible, actions seem to take quite a while.
  • If you have a “Disconnect every module that requires X” you might be missing some of the modules. You can know the modules on your bomb with the “Describe the bomb” dialog.

Update: Seems like the bomb might not be random, here’s a guide else with the instructions on how to defuse it.

Reverted Fire Report
During the case with Walkers “Facility”, HAL will help you get into the evidence room to un-hide evidence.
After doing this task, you will learn about revealing redacted information.
Before doing it on the name list from a previous case, open up the fire report from Andrew’s case and revert the fire report, earning you the achievement.
