Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – Weapon Combos & Trainers Guide

Doing the directional movements without first having learned a combo from a teacher will NOT result in a combo being done. It isn’t like Alchemy recipes which can be done as long as you have the ingredients and know how to make the potion.

Weapon Combo’s can be paid for or gained as a quest reward.

Some skill trainers may become unavailable due to quest progression and while some combo’s may be learned from other trainers, its better to learn the combo’s as soon as possible while trainers are available to talk to.

You cannot learn all combo’s in a playthrough without cheats or mods!

Some weapon combo’s involving Longswords, Heavy Weapons and Unarmed combat can only be learned by choosing whom to side with during the Ars Dimicatoria side quest in the Kuttenberg region.

Menhard von Frankfurt teaches you 3 combos.
Master Nicholas of Prague teaches you 2 combos.

You might spy a mention of the unarmed master strike in a skill description but it’s unimplemented and can only be obtained through mods.

There is a bug that still hasn’t been fixed involving Guard Commander Hans Plümel of Kuttenberg. This is notable because some of his weapon combo’s are exclusive to him, you can’t learn them from anyone else.

As much as possible, do not ask him for a practice fight until you’ve learned all his teachable weapon skills. If you do, his only dialogue afterwards will be to ask him for a practice fight. This will lock you out of learning his weapon combo’s and using him as a skill trainer.

If this happens to you the possible fixes that people have tried and succeeded in include:

• Wearing no armor or weapons
• Wearing only high charisma clothing but no weapons
• Having as much charisma as possible
• Sleeping after you have changed clothes
• Waiting for hourly increments and repeatedly talking to him until the option is available
• Talking to him during a Legacy of the Forge DLC quest that he’s involved in

Unfortunately these might not work for everyone. The other workaround would be cheating the skills in.

E – Exclusive to Trainer
An easy way to find em is disabling every icon except for the combat arena.
