Assassin’s Creed Shadows: How to Fix Sound and Music Issues

Welcome to our guide on resolving sound and music issues in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Many players have encountered problems where the ambient sound and background music do not disappear when using a language other than the immersive one. This guide aims to provide a clear and effective solution to help you enjoy the game with your preferred language settings.

How to Fix

  1. Locate the Configuration File
    Open the “ACShadows.ini” file with a text editor such as Notepad. This file is located in the following directory:
    "C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Assassin's Creed Shadows"
  2. Edit the Language Setting
    Find the line that reads:

    Sound=en-US

    Modify this line to match your desired language. For example:

    en-US (English)
    es-ES (Spanish)
    de-DE (German)

    After making the change, the line should look like this if you choose Spanish:

    Sound=es-ES

  3. Save and Restart
    Save the changes to the “ACShadows.ini” file and restart the game. The sound and music should now be set to your chosen language.
