Dragon Shelter: 100% Achievement Guide

This is my complete reference for every achievement in Dragon Shelter. The good news is that most of them come naturally as you work your way through the game — you won’t need to go out of your way for the bulk of this list. That said, a handful of the daily chores and relationship achievements have details worth knowing before you start, and that’s exactly what this guide is here to cover.

I put this together because a few of these achievements tripped me up on the wording — it’s easy to assume you need to hold onto a certain amount of gold or keep every jar of jam in your inventory, when the game actually tracks your totals in the background. Once you understand how the counters work, the whole list becomes far less stressful to knock out.

Main Achievements

These are the story-progression achievements. If you’re simply playing the game the way it’s meant to be played, you’ll collect these along the way without much fuss. They mostly revolve on giving your dragon a tool, tending the town garden, and building out the museum.

Achievement How to Unlock
Jack of All Trades Give the dragon a tool
I Sow, I Reap Pick flowers in the town garden
Yes, Potatoes Open the Museum of Wonders
I’m Just Here to Participate Take part in your first festival
Chill Out Build a cold kitchen
Are You Sure You Don’t Need This? Give a total of 50 gifts
Now That’s Progress! Obtain an iron tool
Every Heart in Town Earn the trust of all townsfolk
“Ten Out of Ten” Sprouts Fill every display case in the Museum of Wonders

Daily Achievements

This is the section where the real work lives, and also where I’d recommend slowing down and reading the fine print. Several of these are counters that tick up over many in-game days, so the sooner you start chipping away at them, the better.

Yo-Ho-Ho! wants you to dig up your first treasure. You’ll spot these as star marks on the ground — you can find them around your own home, but more often out in the world at the far right edge of the map where the resources are. Roughly five tend to show up per day. Some treasures only reveal themselves when you’re accompanied by your dragon, so bring it along. You’ll need a shovel for this one.

Who Put That Rock There? is straightforward — smash 20 stones. No tricks, just keep swinging.

For Dragon’s Treasure, you need to save 1000 gold. Here’s the part that confused me at first: you don’t have to hold the whole sum at once. The game tracks it systemically based on how much gold you’ve earned in total, so just keep playing and earning and it’ll pop.

Knock on Wood asks you to chop down 20 trees, and I Had One Job is about digging a total of 50 garden beds. Both are pure grind — nothing to plan around.

We Need More Jam is another cumulative counter: cook a total of 50 servings of jam. Just like the gold, you don’t need to carry all the servings with you, as the game keeps track of how many you’ve made.

For the brilliantly named They’ll Grow Back… Right?, destroy 20 berry bushes. You can chop the bushes in the world to the right where resources spawn, and they respawn after a few days. If you ever run short, seeds are available for purchase.

A Head Above the Rest is one of the easiest on the list — just dress your dragon in a clothing item. At a festival you can pick up a free necklace from Selena the Weaver and put it on your dragon.

The dragon friendship achievements are a nice little questline of their own. Friendship Splash has you befriend the water dragon, Tame the Flame wants you to earn the fire dragon’s trust, Where Dragons Grow is about befriending the earth dragon, and Song of the Wind is about greeting the air dragon. Pair these with your day-to-day progression and they’ll come without extra effort.

Finally, the two story-choice achievements are mutually exclusive on a single run. The Kraken’s Good Tale unlocks when you pick the story about the Kraken, while Bizarrely Epic Beets comes from choosing the story about the beets. If you’re chasing 100%, plan on a second playthrough to grab whichever one you skipped.

Wrapping Up the 100%

If you’re chasing the full set, the safest approach is to start on the cumulative counters early and let them tick up in the background while you handle the story achievements and the dragon friendships. For anyone who wants to tighten up the resource side of things, this farming guide is worth a look. Get the grind going on day one and the rest of the list falls into place almost on its own.
