RNG Seeds and Dice outcomes
When the night phase starts, a “seed” is set. The game has already determined what dice the opponent will start with and which they will choose to reroll. Their hand will always be the same outcome. Likewise, your starting hand will always be the same. Each dice you reroll will lead to the same outcome. Even if you save and reload these will not change.
Two things you can do here is,
1.) Knowing what hand they end with, you can try to reroll different dice than you did last time on reload to see if you can make a better hand.
2.) You can swap to betting a different amount. For each amount of the five options, there is a different hand determined for the opponent. So if highest amount is crappy, you can try one lower.
HOWEVER, there is one more thing you can do.
If you work one of the jobs (doesn’t matter which), the action resets the RNG seed. Now everything is set to different outcomes. You can see if things are more favorable after that. It does cost the -3/-4 energy, but you can fix that with totally legal bread. 🙂
