Permafrost: All Weapons List

This is my full rundown of every weapon in Permafrost, gathered into one place so you don’t have to bounce between menus to compare stats. I’ve organized all 79 entries by type — melee tools and ranged weapons — with damage, durability, repair materials, recycling output, and the base selling value for each one. If you’re trying to figure out whether it’s worth upgrading your knife or which sniper to save up for, this should save you some time.

I put this together because the in-game tooltips only tell you so much, and comparing dozens of items side by side by hand gets old fast. What follows is a straight recreation of the source data, grouped so the progression from stone scraps to Moonrock gear actually makes sense. A few caveats before you dive in: the repair and recycling columns list a range in the original game data, several fields are marked “Not specified separately” where the game doesn’t break them out, and a handful of ranged weapons appear twice with differing NPC damage values — I’ve kept both rows intact rather than guessing which one is correct.

Melee Weapons and Tools

Melee covers knives, pickaxes, sledgehammers, and axes. For each entry I’m listing the tool type, base damage, maximum durability, the heavy attack multiplier, stamina cost per swing, repair materials, recycling output, and base value. Almost every melee tool has a heavy attack multiplier of 2.0 and a selling multiplier of 0.6, so the real differentiators here are damage and durability.

If you’re deciding what to craft next, my honest read is that the Quality Metal and Refined lines are where the value sits — those improved versions cost more to repair but give you noticeably better damage and durability without jumping a whole material tier. The plain Stone tools are throwaway gear; you’ll be replacing them almost immediately, so don’t get attached. One thing worth noting: the Refined Stone Sledgehammer shows a base value of 1, which looks off next to everything else in its tier — the original data lists it that way, so I’ve left it as-is rather than “correcting” it.

Ranged Weapons

Ranged weapons use a different stat block: base damage, maximum durability, headshot multiplier, magazine capacity, ammunition type, spread, NPC base damage, repair materials, recycling output, base value, and selling multiplier. Almost everything here has a headshot multiplier of 2.0 and a durability cost per use of 5.0. Magazine size, ammo type, and spread are what really separate these — a tight spread like 0.05 on a sniper is worlds apart from the 1.5 on a flare gun.

Flare Gun 45 / 45 400.0 2.0 — 12ga Flare 1.5 — — 70 0.4

Two things I’d flag as a player working through this list. First, Mrozny 91 and SG9 each appear twice in the source — once with a normal stat line and once with zero base damage and near-zero NPC damage. I’ve kept both rows rather than silently merging them, because I can’t verify from the data alone which is the “live” entry. Second, don’t sleep on the Compound Bow if you’re running a quieter build: 150 base damage, a 0.05 spread, and a low 100 base value make it surprisingly efficient next to the sniper rifles. The Flare Gun is what its name says — a signaling tool with a base damage of 45, and its spread of 1.5 tells you it isn’t meant for combat.

That’s the complete set, all 79 entries laid out with the numbers straight from the game’s data. Numbers like these change with balance patches, so if you spot a value that no longer matches what you see in-game, the source table is the place to double-check.
