Shape of Dreams: How to Unlock Nachia’s Alternate Abilities

Unlocking her alternate abilities can be a challenge. Here’s how you do it

Enter the Pure White Dream 2 times as Nachia

Straight forward. Kill the final boss and activate the pure white light 2 separate times.

Tip: Use lower difficulty if youre having trouble

Defeat the demon of the forest within 6 seconds after dealing the first damage

It might seem challenging if you try to do it in the first loop, but is way easier in the second loop.
After you have killed the beetle in the 4th stage. Choose to continue looping.
Then make your way to the forest boss.

Note: You dont have to kill the boss within 6 seconds of starting the fight. The timer starts from your first damage instance.

Although I havent personally tested it but apparently if youre playing Coop your friend’s damage doesnt count to this. The time gets triggered for you only when your personal minions or abilities hit the boss

Here’s what you do.

• Make sure you enter with 0 current summons active and max summon charges ready to use
• Dont use any of your spells yet. Start the fight by moving in circles and kiting the boss’s lunge attacks
• The boss should soon move on to one of two attacks. Either shooting multiple orbs in a circle, or making branches pop up from the ground. Either way the boss would then be standing still
• Use this opportunity to spam all your summons and abilities and nuke the boss

If done correctly, this should give you the achievement

Defeat guardian of impermanence without taking any damage

Note: Any hit counts, not necessarily damage to HP. So if you have a barrier and the boss hits you. Doesnt damage your HP. It still counts as a failure.

Also important! If at any point during the fight, if you get hit. Quit to main menu and restart the fight. Do not wait for the fight to get over. Also I recommend doing this at the easiest difficulty since the boss wont be using his skills as frequently

Here’s how you do it:
Make sure you dont activate any of those pillars. Activating multiple of them would result in 2 boss fights and that would just make your life harder

Once you enter the boss fight, ideally it will just be the white knight
Learning the attack pattern is important. Here’s a simple explanation

• After he appears on the battlefield he would either shoot a laser beam or try to hit you with his sword
• Sword attack is fairly well telegraphed but the laser beam can catch you off guard. Try to be careful when he initially appears
• If charges the laser attack, try to dodge towards his back. He would rotate the beam but its not a 180 rotation
• After this, dash away to make some distance and spam your abilities. This should cause him to go to second phase.
• Second phase: Sometimes there would be well telegraphed sword slashes from several phantom samurai. Easy to dodge but might get caught offguard.
• However most of the times, second phase would be him charging sort of an earthquake. To avoid getting hit you need to run into protective bubbles that appear on the arena
• When this attack happens, do not panic. Start walking towards any particular direction (clockwise or anticlockwise)
• The bubbles often spawn right in front of you. As in, if youre further away you wont see them spawn. Idk how the game handles it.
• Anyway so start walking in a particular direction. Once you see a bubble spawn, either walk into it or if you want to be safer, dash into it.
• This will go on for 4* turns (+-1 Ill double check and update)
• Be extremely patient during this

After this phase, you can start damaging the boss again. If you have survived so far the rest is very easy.
Keep your distance and start damaging the boss again. After about 33% of his health is left he will change forms again and become way more aggressive.
Be patient, maintain your distance. Its very easy to avoid the hits.

This is just how I did it. Im sure there might be some other ways to optimise it. Anyway, with this you should have all her abilities! 😀
