Far Far Fast Gold farming guide Canyon

Spoiler alert! If you like to explore the game without guides, please do not watch this guide, because it has major spoilers.

I’ve made a guide for myself to farm gold faster and thought this might help somebody else on the way.

This is just a quick run ups on Canyon map to make the secret mission unlocking the gold mine and mine the gold, and extract as fast as possible, ignoring the side quests.

Quick Guide introduction

NOTE: The higher the level of your character the better.

I recommend to play a bit the game and advance in level (Your hero level is more important than the weapons)

You will need A few perks (Jokers) to farm easier and better:

–Gold Prospector (Most important)
–Speedy Gunzales x2 (If possible)
–Healthy Boi x2 (If possible)

Spells:
– Fireball (break fast gold mines, good both for run up or if you encounter them on your way to the locations) [Fire Spells Level 1]

– Portal (Optional. If you want to get faster to the last location) [Electricity Spells Level 5]

– WISP (Optional. Protects you while mining or doing tasks) [Fire Spells Level 20]

– Pistolero (Same as the spell above, local turrets, can be doubled if used correctly with portals) [Cactus Spells Level 4]

– Bandito (Literally Bodyguard, follows you everywhere, both melee and ranged, can be doubled if used correctly with portals. Used to protect you while doing tasks or fleeing) [Cactus Spells Level 35]

Avoid combat as much as you can, but clear the areas if needed or if enemies are bothering you.

I recommend to complete the main quest before starting the run up, or do it if it’s close to your points of interests, but do NOT fight the boss afterwards! (Finish the boss after you’ve made the run ups)

Remember: The faster you move, the faster you finish, get paid, repeat, on and on and on…

Note: You can play on any difficulties, I haven’t noticed any differences between on the gold amount you get. So go with easy mode, you’ll have less headaches.

What I usually use for this kind of speed runs. (I am aware that there might be better choices, but this works for me.

First Location:

First location (And hardest if you ask me)

You have to shoot a bunch of hidden targets around the area to open a huge safe which contains a Sheriff Star

Second Location

The Second Location is located here:

What you have to do:
-Find a shovel and start to dig. (There is a permanent location where the Star spawns Till as date.)

Sheriff Star should be near a wall, in the right side of the shovels.

Third Location

Third location is located here:

What you have to do:
-Try to get in the same position as me on the map
-Near the rope travel point, on the right bottom, there is a cave
-Get dynamite (you have plenty at location) and start to blast your way till at the end of the cave and get the Sheriff Star.
