Forza Horizon 6: All 15 Barn Finds Locations

A complete guide to all 15 Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 6. Covers how the Discover Japan unlock system works – without understanding it, some barns simply won’t appear on your map. All locations with regional landmarks. Guide is updated as I personally progress through the game.

How to Unlock Barn Finds

In FH6, Barn Finds work differently from previous games. Festival wristbands have no effect on them at all.

Barn Finds are tied to your Discover Japan collection journal. Each new stamp you earn unlocks new barns on the map.

How to earn stamps:

  • Street Racing and Touge Battle events
  • Smashing regional Mascots
  • Taking photos, food delivery missions, collecting cars
  • Any exploration-based activities on the map

To unlock all 15 barns, you need to collect all 7 stamps and reach Master Explorer status (Gold tier in Discover Japan).

Important: if you physically find a barn before its stamp is unlocked, you cannot claim the car. Progress first, car second.

Tips for Finding Barns

  • Each active barn is shown on the map as a translucent purple circle – search inside it
  • Every barn sits on an unmarked dirt road – if you’re lost, follow the gravel tracks inside the circle
  • Use the ANNA drone (pause menu → drone) – it moves faster than any car, ignores all terrain, and marks the barn exactly on your map once you get close enough
  • After finding a barn, the car goes for restoration – you’ll need to wait some in-game time before it appears in your garage
  • The Treasure Map DLC reveals all locations instantly – but why buy it when you have this guide

All 15 Barn Finds – Locations

Order may vary between players, but the set of cars is always the same.

1. Honda NSX-R GT ✅ Personally verified

Region: Ohtani
How to find: Directly west of the “Super Hot Hatch Cars B” Festival Sprint event. If it’s not unlocked yet, head north-west from Mei’s house – the barn sits between the bends of the paved and dirt roads.

2. Toyota 2000GT ✅ Personally verified

Region: Ito
How to find: In the middle of the Ito region, just off the coast. Arguably the most beautiful Japanese car ever made.

3. Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 ✅ Personally verified

Region: Ito
How to find: East of Tokyo City, near a major intersection – one of the easiest barns to find, practically roadside.

4. Nissan PAO 📍

Region: Minamino
How to find: Western side of the region. Head north along the dirt road from the Cedar Run Street Racing event and the Edamame mascot – at the bend, turn right. A small road leads to the barn but isn’t visible on the minimap.

5. Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R 📍

Region: Nangan
How to find: North-east corner of the large lake in the region. The OG Godzilla – the original Skyline GT-R.

6. Lincoln Continental 📍

Region: Hokubu
How to find: Directly south of the Flower Run Speed Trap, next to the Shikisai-No-Oka landmark (coloured flower fields). This car has significance to Mei’s story.

7. Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 📍

Region: Ohtani
How to find: Bottom of the region, surrounded by trees – easy to miss at first. Look between the dirt track and the main road.

8. Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 📍

Region: Shimanoyama
How to find: North-west corner of the region. Just off the track in the north-east section of the barn find zone.

9. Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R 📍

Region: Takashiro
How to find: From the used car dealer’s location, head directly east up the small hill – the barn is immediately visible. Close to one of the Treasure Car locations.

10. Nissan R390 GT1 📍

Region: Ohtani
How to find: South-west corner of the region. Follow the off-road trail west and watch your right side.

11. Lamborghini Diablo SV 📍

Region: Ito
How to find: Middle of the region, slightly west. Cannot be reached from the coastal road below — there’s no way through. Head east from the Unlimited Offroad Yahikoyama Cross Country event, or north-east from Ito Airfield — the barn is in a clearing cut by woodcutters.

12. Mitsubishi Montero Evolution 📍

Region: Shimanoyama
How to find: Middle of the region, east side. From the Bandai Azuma Skyline Drift Zone, cut directly east toward the Mount Fuji View Danger Sign.

13. Mitsubishi #1 Lancer Evolution Time Attack 📍

Region: Shimanoyama
How to find: In the northernmost settlement of the region. The barn is almost in plain sight – just above the cliff facing the town. Approach off-road from either side.

14. Nissan #11 Tomica Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette 📍

Region: Ito
How to find: Just north of Ito Airfield. Look for a dirt road heading into the forest from the nearest paved road.

15. Mazda #55 787B 📍

Region: Takashiro
How to find: Middle of the region, inside a large forest. North of the Tea Farm Speed Zone or Cropfields Speed Trap, or directly west of Hirosaki Castle.
